Nature being his magic or if you want to make it sting more think of his magic as a metaphor.
Does Ryland Grace remind anyone else of Stanford Pines?
Also yes that makes Colt Grunkle Stan but seriously who else would he be.
I think Kara would be a Joost Klein fan.
Sat up so fast while reading a fanfic and my hips cracked louder than a boulder breaking in two.
Is this the ao3 writers curse more gentle younger cousin?
Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are just Actor AU Marvey.

Do y'all think that Mike and Harvey did a couples cosplay as Captain Kirk and Spock?
Or what if Mike once got paid to write an English essay/Creative writing piece for someone so he just changed the names and tweaked the story a bit of one of his Spirk fanfics.
Mike Ross is the MsKingBean89 of the star trek fandom and yes Harvey has read all of his fics before even knowing Mike.
Harvey once suspected Mike of writing the fanfics because of a typing quirk or something of the sort but never brought it up. Accidentally had it confirmed when once while him and Mike were dating (about 5 months in) Mike shows him a fic he's writing and Harvey realises the account name.
Lets just say that Mike got a day off work because Harvey wanted the next chapter of his current fic out.
Its 5 AM I haven't slept. I need to be up at 9 AM. But oh no I just had to read that dinluke fanfic because it couldn't have waited another day. May the force be with me....
Have you by chance read 'only fools rush in' by Tennessoui? It is in the same series as 'foolproof, foolhardy'. (Fully agree about how excellent the latter is, by the way.)
Omg no not yet but that's only cause I was so exhausted from the all nighters I pulled on the first fic but planning to read it tonight. I'm sure anything they've wrote is fantastic but also thanks for telling me.
Genuinely yearning for Obi-Wan Kenobi like he's my first love. Thinking about him the same way a wife would for her husband at war.
Also role-reversal Anakin and Obi-Wan goes crazy. Like padawan/Jedi Knight Obi-Wan with Jedi Master Anakin Skywalker just hits so good. Need more now. Gonna be craving this high for weeks.
Do yall think Mike Ross ever used the dead parents excuse? Cause I feel like he had too at least once.
He definitely did it once in school when Trevor roped him into some dumbass scheme. The teacher had threatened to call their parents and Mike just burst out with "My parents are dead." So quick and so factual before seeing the teachers stunned face and realising he had struck gold and so moments later he suddenly bursts into the most Oscar winning tears. Trevor also tries this approach and let's just say it doesn't go down aswell when you use it a day after Parent-Teacher conferences.
Mike doesn't use it a lot cause he'd be lying if he said it was easy anytime he had done. He'd be lying if he said that even without his perfect memory he'd ever forget the pain and the fear that had gripped him learning his parents were dead. But he would also be lying if he said it completely deterred him.
He hadn't used it in a long long time but one day Louis rubbed him wrong and well maybe he was sick of hearing about Louis' newest exploits and however gross it may be. And so when Louis tries to get him to work this weekend when Mike knows the Knicks are playing yeah he uses it. Not as gracefully as he ever had but there's not a lot of arguing with that card. So when Louis mentions something about baseball or other Mike strikes. And if what is left behind is a very pale and very flustered Louis and well Mike couldn't make himself care to much but if he was honest he did feel a tad bad for the guy.
But Mike enjoys his weekend and forgets as much as he can (yk for someone who doesn't forget anything) about it. That is until Harvey calls him into his office bright and early the following Monday. Mike expects a scolding or atleast dissapointment at such a dirty trick. Maybe he expected better of Mike. But what he wasn't ready for is the pure pride emanating from his face.
Harvey quickly fills him in on the grovelling apology he received from Louis meant for Mike and how he should be expecting a gift of some sorts at his apartment later today. If Louis conversation (frantic begging and stumbling over words) with Donna is anything to go bye.
Mike expects Harcey to leave it there. To leave it with the joke as they usually do. What he doesn't expect is a warm hand finding his elbow, warm dark eyes finding his and in a voice so gentle it makes Mike's knees feel unsteady and his throat feel tight,is a promise. A promise that his parents would be proud and that even though Harvey may have never met them that he can say for sure that Mike is someone. Something. To be proud off.
That is where they leave it. Mike gives a shy thank you, eyes no longer meeting Harvey's afraid that if he looks that his wings will melt. That he'll crash into the floor of Harvey's office or even worse right into his arms. Because if his words alone could prop him up then those arms would guide him home for years to come.
So yeah Mike makes dead parents jokes.
