All this 'Kid this' or 'Kid that' nonsense. He's not a kid anymore. Hasn't been for a long time. Not since.. Not since Aunt May atleast. Maybe before then. Maybe he stopped being one after Mr Stark. Or maybe it was as he begged not to go. Or was it at Uncle Ben's funeral? Perhaps it occurred when he got bit. Or maybe it happened after he lost his parents. Maybe he never was a kid.

Whatever it was he couldn't stand it. So he yelled at him. Hell he even cursed him out.

"I'm not a fucking kid anymore Frank! I fought Thanos fuckin Thanos for crying out loud. Yk the giant purple alien from outer space?!?! You think a kid could do that? Is this about Jean? Cause we both know i was right about letting her live. Or is it back to Staten Island cause seriously how can you be such a fu-"

"You're 22 Peter." Frank grumbled. Cutting Peter off rather quickly. And right when he was really kicking it into gear too.

"22? What's that got too do with anything? I can drink. Legally. For like a full on year that doesn't sound very childlike to me." He retorted. Knowing when to shut his mouth never really has been his speciality.

"My son. Junior. You're the same age as he is-... as he would be. That's what makes you a kid. Not the rest of that bullshit."

Frank's words pierce him. More painful than any bullet ever could. And for a moment he's quiet. Because Frank isn't calling him a kid because he thinks he's immature or irresponsible but because he's the age his son should have been.

"Wow silent for a whole two minutes someone call the Daily Bugle." Frank mutters. An olive branch to break the tension.

"Funny Frank truly you should've considered a career in stand-up. You could keep the name punisher cause anyone subjected to your jokes have clearly done something wrong." Peter quips back. For once grateful for his fast mouth. And more grateful for the olive branch. A shared piece of history.

So if Frank still called Peter kid on the odd job and Peter didn't say anything more but accepted as is? Well it doesn't do any harm.

Mike Ross is the MsKingBean89 of the star trek fandom and yes Harvey has read all of his fics before even knowing Mike.

Harvey once suspected Mike of writing the fanfics because of a typing quirk or something of the sort but never brought it up. Accidentally had it confirmed when once while him and Mike were dating (about 5 months in) Mike shows him a fic he's writing and Harvey realises the account name.

Lets just say that Mike got a day off work because Harvey wanted the next chapter of his current fic out.
