// My apologies for the silence from my part these days. I’ve just lost my spark and thus I have little energy left for rp at this moment. I’m working on gathering strength, but my mind simply won’t cooperate.
“All I do is drink coffee and say bad words.”
“You’re not alone. I drink at least three cups of curses and coffe for breakfast.” Sekhmet said, half smiling, as she poured yet another cup for herself. “You want one too?” Looking at the other, she waited too see if the answer was a no or a yes. Either way, she had enough coffee for both of them.
bluehaired-tales:
“Curses and coffee. I love it! Would be an amazing name for a shop on Etsy or something like that. But seeing as you’re offering..”
Pari paused, nodding gratefully at the offer.
“I would love one, please..”
Sekhmet pulled at a smile, promptly pouring another cup for Pari. “Curses and coffee.” She mused, eyeing the other lightly as she handed them their coffee. “Wonder what they’d sell there? Sounds sorta withcy to me. Have a seat by the way.” She sat down on one of the chairs, her fingers carefully wrapped around the warm cup. “Oh, if you want to, of course.” She added, giving her a mild smile.
kiriauc:
She waited, and waited. And waited some more. But it wasn’t an entirely dull task. Anything to aid in bringing down a goa’uld stronghold. This was where she was most useful. She wasn’t yet known as a member of the Jaffa Free Nation, let along as the time-displaced offspring of Teal’c and Ishta. That would take some time for understanding. She had grown up in a time dilation field. Quite accidental, but fortunate.
Her green eyes scanned the surroundings in careful monitoring of anything going on nearby. Thankfully, not much and she was able to feel somewhat less anxious. Her parents had trained her well, but training and applcation were two different things.
She staightened when she heard footsteps, knowing it might be the one she was sent here to observe. Indeed it was, and her cover flowed easily through her mind. It was a simple lie, brilliant in its simplicity and believability.
“Indeed, I have been sent as replacement for the guard of this road. He has been reassigned to aid the First Prime in a mission to Chulak.” It couldn’t be proven false. The location was common for Apophis and his soldiers to explore and seek out new ‘talent’…
Sekhmet observed her as she spoke, and finally she nodded as if to accept the explanation. The Jaffa apparently had been briefed well, which made things a lot easier for Sekhmet. “Very well. I am certain you know the route?”
The goa’uld proceeded to take a position beside the Jaffa, in a suitable distance of course, and for a few seconds she did not say anything further. She simply stood there, on guard, watching for anything unusual.
“I will stay for a while to make certain you do your job correctly.” It was the blunt truth. She didn’t say it, but her lack of trust was obvious. There was little she cared for other than a perfectly done job, and she’d very much like it if this was one of them. She waited another few seconds before she gave the sign to follow her. They had to begin the route, and Sekhmet didn’t have the patience to wait until the Jaffa had answered her question. They could discuss that on the road, even though she was no fan of chit-chatting.

ANGST
“I can’t do anything right.”
“Please don’t cry.”
“Why are you awake right now?”
“Why are you lying to me?”
“Wake up! Please wake up.”
“Forget it, you’re a fucking asshole.”
“Don’t you ever do that again!”
“Is that blood?” “…..No?”
“Please don’t lie to me again, I can’t take it.”
“Do you even still love me?”
“Nobody’s seen you in days.”
“Why are you awake?”
“I’m worried about you.”
“Can you shut up for once in your life?”
“Holding everything in doesn’t help, you know.”
“Are you hurt?” “No.” “Then why are there bruises all over your face?”
“If you don’t hug me right now I think I might fall apart.”
“Leave! Me! Alone!”
FLUFF
“Go with me?” “As long as you hold my hand.”
“Is there a reason you’re blushing like that?”
“Have you seen my hoodie?” “Nooo.” “You’re wearing it, aren’t you?”
“Have you always been this beautiful?”
“OH you’re jealous!”
“Can we stay like this forever?”
“Please just kiss me already.”
“I think you might be my soulmate.”
“Sleep over? Please?”
“Are we on a date right now?”
“I think I’m in love with you.”
“He’s so pretty I think I’m gonna faint.”
“Are you flirting with me?” “You finally noticed?”
“Am I your lockscreen?” “You weren’t supposed to see that.”
“I missed you so much.”
“Do you think the moon is jealous of how pretty you are?”
“I’m here for you.”
“I wish we could live together already.”
MISC
“All I do is drink coffee and say bad words.”
“Quit touching me, your feet are cold!”
“I think I just ripped my pants.”
“Sharing is caring, now give me the hoodie!”
“Can I pet your dog?” “Do I know you?”
“Did you seriously just get your foot stuck in a toilet?” “Maybe.”
“If I die, I’m haunting you first.”
“But I’ve never told you that before.”
“Stop being grumpy, it’s lame.”
“So, uh, I locked the keys in the car.”
“Is the cat in a onesie?” “Uh, no?
“Can we please stop running? I think I’m dying.”
“You come here often?” “Well, I work here. So I think I’d have to say ‘yes’.”
“Aren’t we supposed to be working?”
“Give me attention.”
“YOU SAID TO BE HONEST STOP HITTING ME!”
“Okay, so maybe I didn’t see that coming.”
“I’m too sober for this.” “You don’t even drink.” “Maybe I should start.”

To make it in this world
thescarletlord:
The words that left his lips were well-rehearsed - he had spoken the many times to many Goa’uld, all for the same purpose of eventually scoring a meeting with Kek. But to get that meeting was a difficult task; revealing his true reason behind every meeting would make Kek grow cautious, and would give the other Goa’uld leverage over him.
So he used the same lie he always used.
“I suspect you’ve already heard of my…situation,” he said. “If you haven’t, I’ll enlighten you. After the rebellion against Ra, I was imprisoned on the Tau’ri’s world. I managed to escape from that planet several years ago. Unfortunately, it has been many, many years since I once traveled this galaxy, and it is far different than what I remember.”
He fell silent for a moment, giving the conversation the dramatic pause it was in desperate need of.
“With the Tau’ri quickly wiping us out, I thought it would be wise to seek alliances with my fellow Goa’uld,” he said. “I thought I could offer you my expertise on them and other races of this galaxy - I am well-versed in many of their cultures, and am especially knowledgeable in the race they called the ‘Ancients’.”
Sekhmet observed him as he spoke, and she allowed him to speak without interruption, but when he was done speaking, she simply kept on looking at him as if she tried to look into his very soul.
She had heard of him and his situation, but having him enlighten her, as he so finely put it, amused her in some way. Who was he to believe that she hadn't done some research prior to the meeting? Who was he to believe that she, Sekhmet, the right hand of Apophis, didn't know who she was up against?
"Insight into the races would be useful.." She paused. "But, I believe we already have our methods of gaining such knowledge." She spoke as if she was completely careless in whatever information or knowledge he could give, and in a way she was. Gaining knowledge from their enemies was one of her greatest strengths, although it was also the reason she was so deadly. None of her subjects had survived thus far. And they had been plenty.
After a small pause where she seemed to consider his offer, she spoke again. He was a goa'uld, like her. She didn't have anything to lose on remotely trusting him, for now. If he became a hassle, she would simply end his life. But there was one thing that bothered her.. "No one offers their assistance to us without having something they want in return. What is it you want from us?" No. She couldn't find it in herself to trust him enough to not ask him this. She didn't have the ability to trust without reason and even then it would be thin.
He had piqued her interest though. And the single word that did it for her was the word Ancients. But first, she needed to know what he wanted from this, if anything.
kiriauc:
Having her parents attempt this mission would have been foolishness. Every goa’uld and Jaffa in the galaxy knew how to recognize Teal’c and Ishta, along with Bra’tac and her own brother Rya’c as leaders of the ongoing Jaffa rebellion. They would be spotted and killed on sight upon arriving alone on a goa’uld-claimed world on a reconnaissance mission.
So, it was Kiri’auc who was chosen to go in their place. Even the goa’uld symbol marked on her forehead had been added as part of her charade. The mark of the System Lord in power over this world had been chosen to avoid suspicion. Jaffa were constantly shuffled from one assignment to another, so an unfamiliar face was far less concern than an unfamiliar tattoo.
Dressed in the appropriate gear, a staff weapon in hand and a zat on her hip, she waited. It was Sekhmet she was sent to observe and learn what she could.
As soon as Sekhmet realized that the Jaffa was in fact present, just simply not at the exact spot, she relaxed. She breathed out through her nostrils, pressed her lips together and marched toward the Jaffa.
It was an unfamiliar face, which wasn't that abnormal considering the fact that they often switched them out. Sekhmet didn't care who did it as long as the job was done, although she knew with a bitter taste that her plans of relaxation had been thwarted. She couldn't just leave the Jaffa to the job without giving instructions and most likely she'd have to observe them for a while to be certain they did it right. This was, of course, not a necessity. It was simply Sekhmet who had the need to make certain that everything was done correctly. Being the right hand of Apophis wasn't an easy job, and it had made her very obsessive with how things was done around here. Or rather, around him.
Sekhmet came to a halt not far from them, raising her jaw sharply while observing the other. She did not speak at first. Purposely. When she finally spoke, her voice sounded equally as sharp as the blade of a knife. “Do you know your task?”
It had been a rather long and boring day, where she'd spent every hour until nightfall on guard duty, patrolling. This day she had been appointed the route through the more crowded areas of the city they currently resided in. The area was the residence of the poor people, the workers and those who had nothing and their homes was mostly made up from pieces of clothing that was held up by planks and whatnot, making it look like a city of tents.
Most people recognized her as a goa'uld due to her suit and armor, and the ma'tok staff she carried with her, and most of them kept at a safe distance or rushed away when she approached. Her strict posture also helped keeping people away, which was, to her, a relief.
She had never liked them. The regulars, humans. Whatever one chose to call them, she most certainly preferred to keep them as far away as possible. If they got too close, she had no issues in removing them. Violently, if need be. And she didn't much like this part of the city. It was too dusty. Too dirty. Too much of a hassle.
As the hours passed by and the streets grew ever so empty, and most of the people had retired to their respective homes, she looked forward to some time to relax. A mild breeze gently caressed her face, and her gaze looked to the sky for a moment. There was nothing there. Everything seemed normal. Only stars and the occasional cloud. Sekhmet looked forward and begun walking to the spot where a Jaffa would replace her for the night. As she walked, she felt that breeze once more and a thought passed by. It would be a windy night. Her steps took her closer to the end of the tent city, where proper houses began to grow from the ground, rising up toward the sky, immediately making the goa'uld feel more at rest.
That was when she noticed. The Jaffa that was supposed to stand there, was in fact not present. Her fingers clenched the ma'tok as she muttered a curse under her breath and stepped cautiously toward the empty spot.

Headcanon #4
The device she usually wears on her head, is not just a pretty piece of jewelry, but also a protective helmet. It is much alike the serpent headguards used by Apophis's Jaffa guards. It is retractable, so when it is not in use it is a perfect adornment.
Headcanon #3
Sekhmet is a very efficient assassin, able to get in and out without being seen due to a goa'uld cloaking device she has tinkered herself.
Headcanon #2
Her first hosts name was Amunet, she was an Egyptian princess who unfortunately had to be replaced after an accident. An accident which in fact turned out to be an assassination attempt on Sekhmet's leader at the time.
Headcanon #1
Sekhmet rarely allows her host to speak, and if she does allow it, she will not be allowed to speak for long.
Her hosts name is Maya, but she has been repressed and neglected for so long that she almost doesn't remember her own name nor what her life was like before Sekhmet claimed her.
