This is very misleading. Arizona didn’t pass a law letting businesses refuse service to gays, they passed a law letting businesses refuse service to anyone for any reason.

I disagree with Bill Maher on A LOT of things.. But I have found myself applauding his bravery when it comes to speaking out against radical Islam more and more lately. He is the quintessential Hollywood shill, but he has the balls to take a stand when it’s important. For that, he has my respect.

In this tweet, he does pinpoint something I’ve wanted to say as well to folks of not just the Muslim religion, but of any faith or ideology: You can’t just respect freedom of speech sometimes. 

As a Catholic, I cringe everytime someone mocks Jesus Christ, God, or the Church. Charlie Hebdo make some horrible comics about my faith… But I have, and will continue to defend their right to do so.

You either support freedom of speech and expression as a fundamental human right, or you don’t.

There is no in between.

Ferguson grand jury papers full of inconsistencies

FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) — Some witnesses said Michael Brown had been shot in the back. Another said he was face-down on the ground when Officer Darren Wilson "finished him off." Still others acknowledged changing their stories to fit published details about the autopsy or admitted that they did not see the shooting at all.

"An Associated Press review of thousands of pages of grand jury documents reveals numerous examples of statements made during the shooting investigation that were inconsistent, fabricated or provably wrong. For one, the autopsies ultimately showed Brown was not struck by any bullets in his back."

Please reblog this far and wide to show that *in fact based on extensive investigation and physical EVIDENCE* that Wilson isn't guilty of murder. He was rightly defending himself.
