So, first off the whole national team is gay, no exception. If you watch some of the clips of our players "training", you see them playing, hugging, holding hands, fingering each other (not even joking about that), the atmosphere has never been better.
Edson Alvarez and Diego Lainez is one of the more popular ships of the nt, or at least thats the first ship I remember. They were teammates in Club América and obviously in the national team as well. There was this incident where usmnt player Miazga was bullying Lainez for his short stature and Edson came to defend his man. It's kinda agreed that Edson is the or at least one of the top alphas of the team who is always protecting others, very much including his omega Lainez.
Armando "Hormiga" Gonzalez and Brian Gutierrez are a newer ship. They both play in Chivas, and they are always by each other's sides, hugging and touching. I remember watching an interview about his teammates, and Guti was trying not to mention Hormiga all the time. They're sweet and it makes me happy.
Hormiga and Israel Reyes is an interesting ship. They seem to be close friends, Reyes seeks for all of his attention. But the thing is that he plays for Club América, the biggest rivals of Las Chivas. So this has more of a rivals with benefits twist to it.
Another Hormiga ship (yes, I know, he's getting passed around) is him and Mateo Chavez. They are childhood friends and when Chavez scored, he celebrated it with Hormiga by "fusion" from dragon ball, they're such weebs it's so cute and sweet and I love them
Of course, they're all friends and like complimenting each other so I can imagine a poly ship for all of Hormiga's boyfriends lol
Some of us are also shipping Ochoa with Carlos Acevedo, though I'll be honest I just learned about them last night so I don't really know the connection yet. Still hot.
I mean they both aren't here, but a quick shout out to Chucky Lozano x Kevin Alvarez. Idk why but it was a big ship in the last world cup aside from Memo Ochoa and Leo Messi lol
And of course, my favorite, Santi Giménez and Piero Hincapié. Several fanfics have been made and they make me laugh. Classic case of ragebaiting into having sex, so rivals/enemies with benefits. Santi snitching on him which ultimately led to a red card makes it even better because we don't know what he said. He could be telling Santi that he has pretty eyes.
I am loving the bountiful Mexican yaoi on my tl, whether it be fanart or fanfics, truly the fujoshis know how to create art.
