But in all seriousness, Christie has some serious reservations about being a mutant turtle. She often is too philosophical for her own good and therefore for a while equates her life and her soul as less than compared to her human friends’ which is great when it comes to protecting her friends but terrible when it comes to protecting herself.

She grows out of this mindset but Austen and Shelly are so proud to be turtles it hurts sometimes to compare herself to the others.
