What is the character’s go-to drink order?
I don't imagine Luke enjoying the taste of booze as much as its effects, so he prefers sweet fruity wines or like, appletinis. He can drink harder he just doesnt' like to and wrinkles his nose disapprovingly after every sip. Din, on the other hand, I feel like could have straightedge vibes?? Like, prefers the taste over the effects and hates being out of his mind even a little bit. So, he orders beers or whatever the space equivalent of an old fashioned is....something strong and bitter he can sip over a long period of time so he's never really drunk. Weak or unchuggable drinks for Din.
2. What is their grooming routine?
Luke is a little vain (he deserves it look at him!!) and works out a lot and gets sweaty so he is very fastidious about washing his face. And putting on sunscreen, like any good kid from tatooine. But beyond that, he likes to look good, and his gromming habits revolve around that. This is a man who wore head to toe skin tight black to seduce his own father back to the light. Even as a Jedi I think he'd like to indulge in expensive skincare products and bath bombs and shit.
Din's grooming is really interesting to think about because for most of his life, no one sees him. Everything he does, he does for himself. Which makes his tidy little mustache extremely touching to me. Like that is what he wanted to look like in the mirror, alone. Tidy little mustache man. I also feel like he takes pretty good care of himself because he has a high standard of decorum in regards to upholding his creed. Like he could let his appearance totally go to the wayside but he doesn't. He gets stinky as fuck under that armor but really carefully cleans and moisturizes when he gets to shower in order to offset the effects. He keeps his hair cut and his finger nails short even though it's just for his own sense of cleanliness and propriety. He doesn't have to care about grooming but he does. A delightful contradiction of a man.
3 . What was their most expensive purchase/where does their disposable income go?
Luke: chanel boots (lmao kidding!) As a Jedi he likely wouldn't have much disposable income but as a teenager? He was at the tosche station every weekend getting parts for droids and ships!!
Din: obviously credits are Beskar to him which is a massive part of his self concept, but aside from that he clearly enjoys having a nice ship and I think he would also be a parts guy. Later, baby snacks for the baby eat up his disposable income. Gotta get lil grogu fun snackies everywhere they go so he doesn't accidentally eat anyone's pet or child or whatever.
4. Do they have any scars or tattoos?
Luke obviously has that good size upper lip scar from hoth, but I do like the head canon that he's got a fine filigree of electrocution scars as well. Din's loaded with scars all over from his younger pre Beskar Armani Suit days. No tattoos on either of them.
5. What was the last time they cried, and under what circumstances?
Luke has always been a big crier. He cried every other day in boredom and loneliness and frustration as a teenager, watching all his friends get drafted to the Imperial Army or else head to the academy, leaving him alone on the moisture farm feeling like life was passing him by. Then his aunt and uncle were killed and was yeeted into the rebellion and fell in love with Han Solo then lost Han solo, LOST YODA AND OLD BEN, then saved his father then lost his father! The events of the movies were so traumatic he probably was in flight or fight a lot of the time, and didn't have time to grieve anything, and his crying was limited to hysterical break downs between moments where he had to suck it up just to survive. This makes me think after the war there was like a year long period where he was numb af and didn't cry at all, and then, eventually, his walls started coming down and he turned into a routine crier again. He cried this morning, he will cry tonight. He probably doesn't even know what he's crying about half the time, but it's gotta come out somewhere.
I think Din would also cry often because he's not subject to the public shame of it! He can do it in his helmet and all that happens is stuff gets a little fogged up, no one would know. So my theory is that Din doesnt stuff his emotions that much, he lets them happen when they happen. So he doesn't break down and weep that often but he gets misty eyed and emotional at the drop of a hat. Luke's noisy emotional crying scares him and moves him.
6. Are they an oldest, middle, youngest or only child?
Well as we know Luke was raised as an only child, (very spoiled and loved and protected), but technically has a twin sister. I like to think about what that would be like, how he and Leia would navigate a sibling dynamic after both having grown up as the apple of their parents eye (but in very different ways).
And Din was raised collectively in a religious order. He is a cog in a machine, defined by his community, his family, his relation to other Mandalorians. I often see people missattributing the Lone Warrior archtype to Din, but literally the whole series is about him working together, in communities, and with friends, to complete tasks he doesn't go at alone. He's like the opposite of an only child, he makes everything into a group project, I love this about him, how much he is defined by his commitment to community. Anyway Luke needs to be the center of attention and Din never thinks of himself so they're well matched to spoil and be spoiled accordingly.

8. Describe the place where they sleep.
Oh man, I have spent a lot of time wondering what sort of beds the Children of the Watch had. But let's talk about what their lives look like now in my headcanon world:
They share a humble bed at the new Jedi temple. It's big enough for both of them and has a bunch of mismatched skins and blankets on it and is very comfortable and ugly. Din has spent so much time traveling and staying at shitty weird inns and taverns and sleeping in his armor that it feels insanely luxurious to him. And Luke grew up in the desert and is accustomed to sweating in his sheets a lot so being able to bundle up and snuggle with a warm body and be crushed into sleeping arms is like, so so dreamy. I imagine Din goes about his business most of the time and disappears for months working, and that whole time the bed doesn't feel right to Luke, who is just waiting for Din to come back to it and make it home. Similarly Din is dreaming of the bed the whole time too, whether he's catching a few shitty hours of sleep in the cockpit of his ship or renting a cheap room somewhere. When they finally are reunited they spend a lot of time in that bed just holding each other.
9. What is their favorite holiday?
Luke is a basic bitch and loves Life Day and decorates the temple and stuff :) Din was raised in a fundamentalist religious society and has gone his whole life never celebrating any holidays at all that weren't Mandalorian traditions ala Jehovah's Wittnesses and so Luke has to tell him all about life day, which he thinks is sort of weird and stupid but it makes Luke happy which is what matters.
10. What objects do they always carry around with them?
Luke, as a teenager, was a weird collector kid who picked up cool rocks and randoms bolts and whatever else he could find in the sand. He'd cycle through objects to worry between his fingers in his pocket. The rebellion broke him of this habit, and he goes through a period of not thinking much about possessions, which at first he thinks is good for a Jedi. But as he grows up and fashions his own beliefs and rebuilds the order in a less than traditional way, he goes back to his rock habits. He's that weird teacher who pulls a rock from their pocket and is like "this rock is 8000 years old" and then proceeds to somehow tie it to some incredible life advice you didn't know you needed.
Din of course, if a perpetually armored character. He carries a mask with him at all times, he is never without it, until, of course, he's with Luke and begins to let go of that. I don't think he would have anxiety about feeling that exposed, and hold onto something--a simple necklace, a wrist band, idk, to cling to the feeling of security. Maybe eventually he doesn't need that anymore. Din is a character who its more interesting to think about what he doesn't carry, or learns to set down.
