maybe a bit late, but that's who i am as a person so it's fitting. i'm a guy-ish transmasc (he/they) in my 30s working through grad school.
when not working or studying, i write a lot & have been getting back into drawing!! i mostly make things for hades (thanares & thanzag), but i enjoy other ships & fandoms as enrichment. :D

my fanfics and short summaries are listed below the cut!! they consume at least 90% of my brain at all times & i am always extremely excited to talk about them with anyone interested. :D
the two below series loosely exist in the same story ‘universe’ so there is some overlap in storylines. though i think of these as more or less comprising one larger story, each fic can be read individually on its own.
war and death series (thanares focus):
the brazen sky so fixed by stars: (M, 120k-?) A story following Ares as he learns to navigate his family, his first love, and worst of all, himself.
hateful things: (E, 12.5k) When Thanatos unexpectedly takes Ares up on a long-standing invitation, surprises abound.
bane of men: (M, 2k) In which Ares responds to conflicting Iliad-style requests from his family and Thanatos learns the magic phrase for commanding the god of war.
carrion: (M, 2k) In the wake of a city’s sacking, Thanatos learns of Ares’ soft spot for vultures and reveals something about himself.
the death he would rather: (E, 3.5k) If there can be no rest for Thanatos while war rages on, then Ares will restrain himself to ensure that he gets a proper break. (angsty last time smut).
a frightful place: (M, 1.8k) Right when a pleasant evening seems about to become even better, a mistake causes past trauma to rear its head. This time, Ares has a chance to help fix it.
materials of war: (T, 1.3k) Ares and Thanatos carve out a moment of reprieve in the midst of a battlefield.
desecration: (E, 4.5k) Thanatos is bad at dealing with his emotions, especially the more painful ones, but bottling them up only hurts him more. Luckily, as a god well-versed in influencing battle spirit and an avid student of Death, Ares has learned of a way to help him—and he's never been one to shy from pain.

threads of gold: (M, 33k, pre-relationship thanzag & temporary thanares) A story following Thanatos as he learns to navigate the living, the dead, and, worst of all, feelings.
rain like copper & pitiless bronze: (E, 52k) A story following Zagreus and Thanatos as they learn to live a little.
The life of you, your lighting of the blaze: (E, 5.5k) Thanatos is worried for Zagreus, but comes to realise he really doesn't need to be.
to dust, the rest: (T, 3k) Thanatos finds himself temporarily out of work. Unsurprisingly, as the incarnation of his job, he doesn't take well to unemployment.
thanzag week fics:
letting go: (T, 1.5k) In which the first Elysium encounter between Thanatos and Zagreus takes an unexpected turn.
under a harvest moon: (T, 1k) In a world long abandoned by Death, Zagreus sets out from his Ephyra home in search of answers about his missing mother.
a festive light: (T, 1k) As the House of Hades prepares for the impending Olympian feast, Thanatos is faced with something even more concerning: Zagreus' decorative choices.
other fics:
rite of bloodshed: (M, 1k) Alectryon is every bit as bloodthirsty as Ares, and just as devoted to Ares as Ares is to Thanatos—the difference is, only one of them can die.
scars: (T, 700w) It's not the best idea he's ever had—OK, it's probably one of the worst—but following the reopening of the Handsome Jackpot, Rhys' curiosity gets the best of him.
so one of the reasons why i have been away from posting more art and paused updating longfics for hadesgame is that i have been working on what seems to be going to be a very... longform comic that is unsurprisingly centered around zagreus from hades these past few months.
with how this more lighthearted funny transzag post is received and that it is pride month, i would like to say that this is a comic built on that headcanon!
"the body that carries him (or them)" is about pre-canon zagreus and his relationship to his gender (transmascness/non-binary)! with a heavy theme of gender dysphoria of attempting to fit in the binary... and unfortunately, since it is pre-canon hadesgame (starting from some parts of his childhood to young adulthood), there's some of the established pre-canon angst alluding to the main story and the many other issues that come with it.
i do diverge a bit with the leeway of the vagueness of pre-canon
i thought that it would be shorter than what its becoming (my draft currently now at 90 pages?!) im trying my best to fight it to tell the story as best as i can... but this is what happens when The Character takes over us and im sitting here with the Love of Game and the house of hades
so with this update post, i'd like to pair it with some visdev and sketches of some pages i'd like to share:

Very late to playing the game but I started playing Hades over the weekend and I’m low-key obsessed! The character design work is just so good and I’m especially obsessed with my guy Hypnos so I had to draw him ✌️😌
you have permission to pick that 2 year old "abandoned" project back up. it's not mad at you for setting it aside. and maybe time and distance have helped ease or erase the things that made you put it down in the first place.
Shout out to characters who want to be used. Shout out to characters who are so desperate to be worth something that they'll endure anything. Shout out to characters who build their entire self worth around being useful, being a tool. Shout out to characters who don't care how they are treated, as long as someone pays them any attention at all
