My thoughts on AppStore removal of tumblr

Okay, so it took me a while to figure out wtf was going on with tumblr because I was noticing the app was behaving a lot like SafeSearch was on automatically which proved to be the case. You can disable it from the settings menu in iOS but it still acts like it’s enabled. This of course hindered my tumblr ritual and proved to be quite inconvenient! I haven’t deleted tumblr cus I’m afraid I won’t be able to easily reinstall right away. Reddit has a similar workaround where you can’t browse NSFW content on the app unless you disable safe search on a desktop. I thought it was just tumblr buckling down on all the sex bots BUT I did find out that it was CP that actually brought the crack down!! Nowhere in my life ever did I think that it could be on tumblr. But, why wouldn’t it right? You can watch gore videos and other nsfw content on here, they got school shooter fangirls and other creepy stuff so why would child porn not eventually slip in. Anyway, how do you moderate that on sites like Reddit, 4chan, and now tumblr where nothing is tagged or I guess anyone can just upload it. Report the users right... but putting a complete halt on ALL the nsfw content until they can find everything? It’s pretty interesting how this is being handled. Anyway, there’s my input
