Any other young adult witches living under their mother's shadow?

I feel like I can't do anything cause her work pollutes my private space in the house. When all you lovely babes who choose to go on and have children and raise them with a decent influence of witchcraft, please, do them a favor. Please leave a neutral safe space for them in the house. Being raised by a witch who used witchcraft as a second major income with hundreds of clients, there where times when I wanted nothing to do with it, but could never escape it. I could never find peace in my own home. It was pretty detrimental to my well being growing up. Also, having all her work pollute my space prevented me from growing spirituality and as a witch. As much as I'd love to move out and have my own space devoted to whatever, it's just not financially feasible for me. Also, it kills me knowing that as long as I live with my mother, I'll never be able progress as a witch. Her work and energy in this house eclipses all the sources I derive my inspiration and power from. It sucks. I would go out to secluded woodland areas, but with suburban/urban sprawl happening so devastatingly fast in Southern Florida, it's not an option for me without having to drive far away and to (potentially) unsafe areas. I'd also go to the beach, but turtle nesting season is a thing most of the year and I don't feel like getting a ticket for being there too late and with fire.

Worshipping yourself?

(I'm not that full of mysrlf, I promise) When you want to worship a deity but have no one calling and no path in general, what do you do? Would it make sense to worship yourself? Look for the divinity within yourself and become (for lack of a better word) self-serving? I know I sound like a Disney villain in the making, but does anyone get what I mean? I can't exactly put it to words. Can someone who understands help me articulate this better and work through it? I'm starting to feel dumb/silly.

I’ve made a new spread in my efforts to promote the wonderful show MisSpelled, and the Kickstarter campaign they’re currently running to fund the rest of the season! (I care about this a lot you guys!)

One of my favourite moments in the first episode (which you should watch, by the way!) is when the girls have gotten together to cast a circle, and Gladys asks, “Should we have googled this?” (Probably!)

So, I present to you my MisSpelled Spread! 

Card One — WTF Am I Even Doing? will help you clarify your goal and show you what the actual point is.

Cards Two to Five — How tho?? are going to be your advice cards on how to accomplish Card One — you may even get a sequence of steps to follow here.

Card Six — TL;DR will either sum up the last four cards (in case you weren’t paying attention) or give you a bare bones “at the very LEAST just do this” step.

Card Seven — Oh, and JSYK… will point out any helpful tips or advice that mysterious beings in the universe may want you to know about what you’re trying to do — although a grimoire at your door is NOT guaranteed (but you’ve got one in your deck, now don’t you?).
