Gotham's streets were dark.
Knight had lost time again. Tapping on his visor verified it, he'd only remembered heading out for a morning patrol and decidedly taking it easy, cane at the ready.
Now it was evening, and he was stumbling through the street even with his cane. Walking the streets with a long, jagged gash in his leg.
It wasn't an issue. Worsened with stress, but.. nothing. It was better than an episode, at least.
At this pace, getting back to the militia is gruelling. He stops in the street, heaving, pressing a hand to the bloody gash. He's not stable enough to do anything about it; the best he has managed to do is the click of the medical staples he carries on him. In no way administered as proper as they should be, but..
He's just glad the street is empty, for all he can tell.
A faint green and red glow was visible before the humanoid being was.
The being made of Kryptonite titled its head in curiosity, their curiosity and slight wariness could almost be felt.
It made a noise similar to a cat, trying to communicate.
It looked at him, they seemed to try to understand what was going on with him.
Carefully the being walked up to him.
"Oh?" It said, thought the voice didn't seem to match the being.
The being was small, small enough that they wouldn't be noticeable in a crowd despite their faint glowing and rock appearances.
Knight stares at the thing, slowly. Looks to the side of the street— still desolate, decrepit, the usual Gotham way— then back to the glowing creature.
Is that real? Thoughts are pulled through his mind as if through honey. Is that a hallucination? How much blood has he lost?
Knight shakes his head, slowly, trying to stabilize himself against the brick wall.
".. What?" He murmurs, slowly. "What are..?"
Next to him, from the ground a kryptonite cube emerged, the perfect height for him to sit on it.
The creature then looked around, trying to find something else it could do. When it didn't find anything of interest it approached him and looked at his leg.
A shift in their glow and the aura around them shifted too, from curiosity to pain, thought it was as if pain was more a question than a feeling.
He stares warily at the cube, staggering back a foot with a grimace. He's not.. going to listen to this.. thing. That isn't real, clearly.
When the creature comes closer he shrinks back against the wall, staring wildly at it. Anticipating.. something, anything. Another Beast World? He hopes not. No more.. parasitic things.
When their aura fills with pain his chest hurts. He nods, dizzily. Pain. He's in pain.
The being thought for a bit before running off.
The sound of glass breaking could be heard a few seconds after.
A few minutes later it was back with a roll of bandages, a water bottle and a bag of candy.
It offered the object it held to him, feeling satisfied with the help it was giving, despite the fact it was clear it had little to no idea of what it was doing.
The red kryptonite part of them glowed a little and the air around them felt calmer.
Knight reaches out to take it, gingerly. The water is bottled. Seal isn't broken. He squeezes it a few times. Doesn't look like it's leaky.
He leaves the candy, but takes the bandages. He doesn't trust the creature, but he can't really get away this injured. So he unclips some armour plating, lifting his pant leg to tend to the gash.
"Thank you." Knight murmurs, quietly pouring a bit of water on the wound to clean it, then wiping it down and bandaging it up.
The being looked horrified when he unclipped his armour plating, it did not realise it wasn't a part of his body. It made a noise that sounded concerned and alarmed.
It observed what he was doing, and slowly became less horrified by the armour.
"Thank you?" It said in a mimicry of his voice, trying to understand what it meant and how the words felt.
The creature eventually sat down, it was doing something and seemed very focused on its task, they only looked up a few times to look at his head.
He looks up at the thing, blinking at the noise as he finishes the bandaging, clipping it tight. What was that noise? He wants to ask.
"Thank you." Knight repeats, raising an eyebrow, and nods. He leans down, taking a sip of the water gratefully.
He peers at the creature as it works. Trying to figure out what it's doing.
After around ten minutes it looked back up at him and stood up.
They handed a small piece of kryptonite to him.
The kryptonite reassembled his helmet, it was somewhat sloppy and not that recognisable, looked more like a weird cat then his helmet, but the being was really proud of itself and looked up with hopeful eyes.
A gift, that what it was, the being didn't understand communication much, but it's understood the act of giving, of helping, of approaching.
He zones out for a while, drawing back to it as it stands up. He stands up straighter, looking at it.
He takes it gingerly, recognizing the stone instantly.
And then he jolts when his helmet is reassembled, vision shifting. Internally, he swears.
But it was a gift. So he nods, and murmurs a thank you.
The being smiled or did something that was similar enough.

In the darkness of the night, the meteor went mostly unnoticed, its speed, where it was going to crash, all seemed unknown for the beauty of the night.
Eventually it crashed, landing in some sort of field, somewhere between Gotham and Metropolis.
The meteor appeared to be a simple grey, until it cracked. Opening in two halves, revealing green and red rock.
A humanoid form crawled out of the rock, the first thing that stood out about the being was the red spike that formed an almost buns like form, and the two red spikes on each side of its face.
Its eyes were the same red as the spike, and the rest of their forms were green.
Kryptonite, the being was made of kryptonite, something that is as valuable as it's dangerous.
The being was small, less than 1m in height.
It looked around, a soft glow omitting from them, more specifically the red part of it.
A sort of aura of fear and child-like wonder surrounded it, affecting the feeling of any living thing getting too close, in a sort of reverse empath way.

Have you sought out any superman blogs?
//I'm assuming you're asking ooc, and not really.
Anyone is free to interact with me as long as they don't have a minor dni, as both the mun and muse are minor, or the mun isn't the same as the one behind sleep-deprived-tim, but I doubt they would interact with me.
So if you want to interact with me and you have a superman blog you are free too, unless you are one of the two things said above.

Cassie had just been floating about, enjoying the night while it was still young before she heard the impact of something hitting the ground.
Gravitating towards the sound she saw the meteor and watched as it cracked open, she should probably call Diana, or Superman, or some sort of adult, but when had she ever done that.
She watched as something started to emerge from the meteor, or rather someone as she got to see more and more of the being.
She came in closer to get a better view before she saw its full glowing form, made of kryptonite and alive-
“Ohmygod”
The being tilted its head, a slow movement.
An aura of wariness and curiosity coming from them.
It stared, but didn't make any move.
The being looked clueless, only using the power of the red kryptonite to reach out to the living, as it was the only act that came naturally to them, the only way they truly knew how to interact.
The glow from the red kryptonite became stronger as the aura prolonged, having an effect on living further away.
The being tried to reach out as far as it could, it didn't know why, or how, or what, but it knew how to make people feel what they felt, and so it did.
"Ohmygod?" The voice that came was a mimicry of her own voice, the words weren't pronounced quite correctly, and the being surely didn't seem like it understand what its said, it was purely mimicry.
It talkes-
Cassie was not prepped for this, finding a living kryptonite being was not part of last weeks training session, or any training session ever for that matter.
she watched as the being reached out and carefully picked it up and after hearing the mimicking of her words she knew that she would not be letting go anytime soon.
“Hi -uh- kid?” Was it a kid? Oh well whats done was done, “I’m Cassie whats your name?”
The being didn't seem to appreciate being picked up.
The feeling projected by the being switching from wariness and curiosity to fear, becoming stronger and more intense.
The wild life hidden around the two reacting to the change quickly, the being's feeling triggering the instinct to flee and to attack in the wild life.
Thankfully none of the animals got close, they could be heard but not seen.
It tried to escape her arms, but their movements were clumsy at best.
The being then seemed to get a sudden realisation as it stopped moving.
Green spike emerged from the ground, sharp but none actually touching her, a warning, a plea.
"Oh!" It exclaimed, they still didn't seem to understand what it meant but they were attempting communication.
