Smoke like flowers rapidly blooming,
She burns before my eyes,
And talks all day
Not seeing the ash all over my coat.
Smoke like flowers rapidly blooming,
A crowd laughs and cheers
Smoke like flowers rapidly blooming,
They tell her stories
Brushing off the ash all over their shirts
Before dusting it off of hers
“Pay no mind,
I’m right,
You’re true.”
Smoke like flowers rapidly blooming,
I watch my sister burn to death
While my mother mourns,
A grave already dug inside her head.
Smoke like flowers rapidly blooming,
A soul so bright,
A heart so determined
Half knowing,
Burning out
And what will be left of me
Once the smoke is thin,
Twirling
While I myself burn?
Not
Like flowers rapidly burning,
But like a brother
Sick with a dead sister?
She,
Burning before my helpless hands,
Smoke
Like flowers
Rapidly blooming
