I'm convinced that at one point everyone encounters a situation they want to run away from, a situation where you wish you'd be in the body of someone else, merely being someone watching this situation but not being involved as such. It might just be something simple, others would even dare to laugh at you because of that, but that's not really important in situations like this. Some people are just stronger than others, some people are capable to endure a lot of pain or simply being able to stay strong in every situation, but once again, everyone is different. I've never once thought I'd encounter such a situation, such a feeling of the need to run away, not according to all the things I went through. I thought I could pretty much deal with everything by now, but apparently I can't and I can't even run away and believe me, if I could I definitely would. If I could I'd already be far away from here, probably going back to my old life or traveling around til I find something else to do, just not to face things anymore.Â
But every time we encounter something like that, we learn something out of it, don't we? And I for sure learned not to grow attached to some people and trusting them. I won't ever in my life tell anyone anything about my past anymore. No, actually, I'm not going to let anyone get this close to get interested in my whole being. The only thing they should know is that I am an asshole and that no matter what they do I won't even dare to give a damn about anything. And while knowing that, I want them to stay far away from me. Eventually I should spread the rumor that I already killed someone because they were bothering me, maybe this will help out in this situation. But well, that'd probably be the last thing I could do if nothing works and I'm already an asshole at most parts, so why shouldn't I just become an even bigger one and finally be alone, like I actually want to be? It might be hard tho, humans crave for attention and love, it's something natural, that'll be definitely my biggest enemy.Â
I'm out of here.Â
Greetings, the dragon.
"How many times do I have to tell you?"
Jiyong raised an eyebrow at the woman before he shrugged. "How about one hundred times? Maybe even two thousand.. but I guess even then I don't really care what you got to tell me and even then I am pretty sure I'll just ignore it anyways. I'm not interested in what you got to tell me, pick someone else, tell them what bothers you and what others, or in this case, I do wrong. They are for sure more interested than I am."Â

"Do you even know what youâre doing?"

"Fuck it."
"Thatâs the worst advice Iâve ever heard."
"Who ARE you anymore?"
"Can I get a refill?"
"Well you donât see that everyday."
persuasion ! jiyong » tomomi
She rolled her eyes and cocked her hips to the side. âWhatever Jiyong.â No matter how much she would explain on how she ended up there, he wouldnât believe her anyways. Raising an eyebrow, she looked over at the boy and sickered. âI didnât know youâre mean.â If there was one thing she knew about Jiyong, it is that heâs pretty much quite in class. He doesnât participate much and mostly kept to himself. The only reason Tomomi knows him at all is because sheâs the type to know everyoneâs face and names.
"That was average? Looks real good to me." Tomomi said, now grinning. As said before, sheâd seen tons of street performances before and Jiyongâs were on par. Her thoughts drifted to a video she saw once on the Internet. It was a dance practice ( or tutorial, she couldnât recall ) of a famous dance crew in the States. "I think I saw those dance moves before. In the Internet?" She didnât exactly expect an answer since she asked that out of pure curiosity.
Smiling, Tomomi nodded and stroke the dogâs head. âDonât worry, I would never tell on a cutie like him. How old is he anyways?â She never had the chance to get a pet. Her mom was somehow sensitive towards furry objects -animals included. Thus, she was petless for life, considering she couldnât possibly take care of one in the university.
Still stroking Gaho, she frowned as something made its way inside the playful brain of hers. Itâs been a while since her last prank and she really needed something amusing to watch. Just now, while looking at Jiyong dance, she noticed something else. He was singing. Like those boygroup members who sing and rap while dancing. Smirking she tugged on Jiyongâs sleeve and looked right into his eyes. âWhat do you say about performing at the Verte cafe?â
Jiyong shrugged. "You could say I'm mean or maybe I'm just trying to keep my dick clean. Eventually saying that I'm just not very fond of bitches who want to hop on dicks so I push them away as far as possible with the best methods ever so I can live a happy life, would be pretty right too", Jiyong nodded and shrugged once again. He didn't even know why he was having a conversation once again. Eventually it was because the girl infront of him with it's big eyes reminded him a little bit of the pup he was holding in his arms anyways or eventually it was just the exhausion which made him actually don't give a fuck about talking right now.
"Average.. better than the other guys from the school but comared to other dancers.. it was just average. Like there's a lot to learn and a lot to do for me to be good", Jiyong nodded on one hand he just wanted to accept the compliment but after all he should be honest with himself and with the people around him. He didn't need anyone to boost his ego up. He knew the way he danced wasn't neccesarily bad but not perfect or at least in his opinion close to good. On the other hand he was just a bit hard on himself. "You did? Well.. they are pretty much common. It's what you see on the streets, what people make their money with. It's not enough for like competitions but it's enough to show the people some skills so they give you money for it." The young male shrugged.
Jiyong smiled slightly as he looked at Gaho and a quiet relieved sigh of him left his throat. "Well.. he's just a few months right now. Either three or four months, so he's really young. I didn't get him too long before as I happened to wander through the streets."
Immediately Jiyong's eyes widened and he shook his head quickly. "No. Never in my life would I decide on doing something stupid as that. Like who does that these days? Guys who want to be funny and impress girls but fail hard and then they're laughed at and hide in their corners of their so called room, watching porn til everyone forgot about that embarrassing incident just a little while ago. I say no about performing at the Verte cafe. There's an image I have to lose and I'm not planing on losing that ever."
Show Me. || Melissa and Jiyong
Melissa listened intently to each reply. Every reply pushed her down more and more and she felt tiny back the time she got to her point. Jiyong was so unlike any other Korean boy sheâd ever met. His demeanor was rugged, but his speech was even worse. Was this what a bad boy was? She wondered how anyone could be attracted to the type, but she had seen them fall before him.
No. It wasnât even just a no. It was a no paired with an insult on her ability as a dancer. Melissaâs lip trembled in her anger and she crossed her arms and turned her head away from him. Jiyong was a jerk, and Melissa hated that she needed his help. She bit her lip to settle the trembling before turning back to him and speaking as he leaves. âYouâre not signed,â Melissa reminded walking forward once he stopped. âEven if that isnât your goal, your hip hop could still use some work,â she nods stopping and sighing gaining confidence and temperance. âThe best hip hop dancers have classical training of some sort and I have seen you during ballet practice times doing your own thing.â
Melissa knew what she had to finish would be the make or break of him leaving and or staying. Telling him what he needed or what would be best was not going work. Jiyong wasnât a reasonable type of person. She close her eyes and opened them slowly. âPlease, I got threes until this week. I am not hopeless, Iâm just not good. Iâm willing to listen and offer tips on ballet,â she tells him softly before running her fingers through her hair.
To archive what he wants there was no help needed. Not from a girl. Not from anyone from this university actually. Maybe one of his friends knew some who could be able to teach him the basics, but there was no way he'd ever agree to an option like that. There was no way that he'd take help from anyone of this university. At least that's what his ego and mind decided and agreed on and it wasn't something he'd give up easily just like that, just because some girl needed help. Especially not if a girl needed help.
"I'm not signed?", Jiyong grinned. Was this girl kidding him right now? Slowly he turned around to her. No he wouldn't brag now that if he wanted to he could simply drop out of university to stay at the underground club. No he wouldn't tell her that in the end ballet didn't matter to him at all. That it didn't matter to him and his career as dancer if he ever wanted to go with that and not simply trusting his abilitys of his voice. "My hip hop could use some work? I never said different, but I allow myself to say that I'm pretty decent with it and compared to the people here, let's face it, I stand out. I'm better than any of the guys and you know that so well. Otherwise you wouldn't ask me but ask someone else. But you don't want to waste your time with someone that is just average", Jiyong replied and shrugged. "Maybe some good hip hop dancers once had a stick shoved up their ass and had their classical training, but that doesn't say everyone did. And there are a lot having non of this. None of this professional training." The young male wanted to end the conversation as soon as possible. He didn't really want to discuss any of that. He wanted to go, take the pup, go to the dance studio, practice there. It was enough time he spend at this day already.
"I know I'm doing my own thing. Like it's the most boring thing to me. Like you don't move yourself to the music, you're dared to follow some weird rules. That's all it is to me. It's not dancing", the young dancer replied with a slight anger in his voice. There was nothing he hated more when it came to dancing then ballet.
Jiyong raised his eyebrow. Three's? It was something he could work on with her, but if he wanted to? Not really. It wasn't his thing to help others. To get away from them and spend as little time as possible with them was what he wanted. With a sightly helpless sigh he looked at the clock. He needed to get his pup out. But on the other hand, maybe it wasn't too bad to help. "I think about it..?"
Show Me. || Melissa and Jiyong
Dance Status | Week Three Report
5 | Lryical - strength, great technique
4 | European - rhythms slow at moments
2 | Hip Hop - weak and lack of showmanship
5 | Acrobatics - valdez improved greatly
4 | Tap- counts again.
4 | Latin- work on facial expressions
5 | Ballet- flawless
Every report said the same thing, and as a dancer, versatility was important. Yet the sharpness and beats of hip hop was so different than the ballet she loved. She sighed and went to her bag to get her water. Her eyes stayed still concentrated on the hip hop score. A two out five? Melissa was beginning to belief she was hopeless as she turned to see a group of students free styling in the studio.
The music was the latest underground rapper and the dancers were all creative and having fun, but Jiyong stood out. He had a charisma with each of his moves that left his opponents in awe as well. It was all for fun, but in her eyes heâd won. He could be her savior.
As he began to pack his things up, Melissa walked over to him with her arms crossed. She bowed her head and smiled faintly. âYouâre Jiyong right? You are the b-boy king around here and I was hoping I could use our talent to help raise my hip hop scores,â Melissa admitted hoping he would say yes. âPlease say yes. I could pay you or help you in something else,â she adds in his silence.
Jiyong raised his eyebrow as he held his report in his hands. He didn't really care about it, he knew it was the usual stuff anyways. He knew he'd be pretty good with the Hip Hop section but when it came to Ballet it would be something like an one or two. He should care more about it and he told himself that every time he looked at that report but after a few hours, he wasn't bothering with it anymore. He didn't want to look like he got a stick shoved up his ass. He liked smooth movements which just happened to more or less melt to one thing rather than watching his exact steps. Watching that probably every single muscle in his body was tensed just to look good in the end. He did never like dance like that, for him it wasn't even dance at all. It was showing off something, showing something like an act, yet it was considered dancing. It was something, Jiyong barely understood and besides him not understanding, he was convinced that only rich people did dance ballet and it wasn't something he was very fond of. While having a little fun with the guys, which he at least tolerated and kinda respected due to the way they danced he didn't even notice that someone was looking and watching his moves. All he did was moving his body to the music.
After their little not too serious dance battle, he picked up his stuff, ready to leave. He was leaving Gaho alone for too long anyways by now. He should definitely hurry up by now, before Changsun decided to bring the pup away anyways just because he didn't like it breathing or anything.
With a quiet groan he turned around as someone started to obviously talking to him. A female voice even. Why? Hadn't he mentioned enough that he was pretty much done with that? Done that they just simply thought that he'd eventually show interest if they asked for the 100th time? Jiyong raised an eyebrow as he listened to the following sentence which was leaving the girls lips. "I guess I am Jiyong.. maybe I am not.. Eventually he actually just left?", Jiyong replied before he shook his head and sighed softly. "Helping you to raise your hip hop scores? Like.. When there's no talent, there won't ever be", Jiyong answered and turned around before he heard another sentence. Helping with something? Mh.. Eventually she could help him to raise the ballet score, not that he actually cared that much but if he needed some references he could at least show that he could do more than just one kind of dance. Jiyong just bit his lip and shook his head once again. Even tho he didn't find the idea bad at all, he would never admit, being bad at something and expecting help.
