Americans are posers if all those guns really were for defending yourselves from tyranny almost every politician in the nation would have had a full mag pumped into them by now.
that post where someone got one of the original tsukihime trial editions but when they got the package the US Customs apparently destroyed the floppy disk inside hurts, holy shit
pain
What the actual fuck?
This is actually far from the first time something like this has happened, but this is probably the rarest thing that has been destroyed. Just looking at the thread you can find other people who have shared similar experiences:
US customs be like: "Sorry (not sorry LMAO) about your extremely rare one of a kind irreplaceable piece of history, but it came from a country that wasn't America (Scary!) and therefore we assumed that like some poor evil brown people or some shit were hiding 10,000 Pounds of drugs in it, so we had to fucking shoot it with our guns and rip it open and stab it and break every single individual part of it and fuck it and cum in it and set it on fire and use it to bludgeon my wife to death and shit. You can have it back now, we deemed it was old and also dumb nerd shit and so therefore it had no value anyways and so we aren't giving you any money in return for what we did. Also, none of us actually did it and we investigated ourselves and decided that we didn't do anything wrong so like there isn't actually a problem here and there's nothing you can do about this.
Anyways, here's your package:"
See i personally just think if you post about food or drug recalls you should have to specify what country its in. And no, "nationwide" does not count.
Hey I just want you to know that when you said "Let me out of your 100.4°F attic" you're showing an incredibly US centric attitude in expecting everyone else to bend to the conventions of what you think is the normative default and instinctively understand your cultural references (how hot that is).
I am genuinely and earnestly in awe of the fact that everyone ignored this being a funny joke about kidnapping in favour of yanksplaining Fahrenheit to me. Congrats, I respect all of you even less than I already did.
Yankbreaking is going to be the big kink in 2026
Forceyanking is going to be the big kink in 2027
"Forceyanking" has been a thing since the US was established as a colonial power, and then expanded globally as the US ascended to become the centre of global empire and it's not cute or funny.
environmental storytelling but also great wikipedia message. endlessly reusable.
