*The fact that Steve and Bucky's canonical relationship was so poignant, historically rich, and rife with romantic tropes that there was no good reason narratively or morally to not have them be canonically a couple, but Disney chose instead to simply pretend like they never had any kind of relationship to begin with. For the prompt, what about pre-serum Steve cornering Bucky against something (wall, chair, etc), pressed up real close, trying to seduce Bucky, and Bucky's 1000% flustered/overwhelmed (and very turned on)? I just love the idea of Steve being confident in his own skin and knowing how much he affects Bucky, and totally using it to his advantage (and causing Bucky the best kind of distress).
