"Your aggressive zealotry to your traitors and heretics are very much known. Exactly, what of Aliens? More specifically Eldar such as myself?" Ysedra asked, not hiding the fact she's a farseer either.
Andromeda reaches for her bolter. “The higher ups have warned me of your kind! This is your warning to leave immediately xeno! I dont normally let my enemies run off.”
She shrugged, and does as she was warned. “Fine. My mission has already been finished here. Your Imperium may have this world, though, I would save that bullet for another “foul alien” to come. A much bigger, simpler, and greener kind.“ She chuckled, walking towards a hidden ship in the dense forest.
“What are you talking about?! Explain yourself!” Andromeda shouts into nothing but empty scenery. “Please don’t tell me I was given a bad batch again…”
Ysedra reappeared between the trees, despite wearing her helmet the human could easily see her being amused. “First calm down. Then think. What alien in this galaxy, of all the ones that have been known by your empire, matches those three descriptions?”
Andromeda looks up at Ysedra with slight confusion. She takes a deep breath, “Well there are various specifications for xeno which refers to well nonhumanoid species.” She grunts a little bit.
A very noticeable groan came from the eldar, no longer amused by the “daughter of the emperor” overthinking. “Orkz. I was speaking of the orkz. They will come to this planet in a matter of weeks.” She mumbled something in her language. She composed her stature once again, giving off the sort of mystic vibe that she was known for. “Any other question you seek?”
“I thought you hated our kind. Why are you helping me out?” Andromeda raises an eyebrow at the mystical xeno. “Trust me I appreciate this, but it just feels bizarre. I was always taught you wanted us to suffer in despair.”
For a moment, there was merely silence. It was as if she was asking herself that question. Then she answered, "The goal of all Aeldari is survival. While we are divided on how to achieve it, we generally are united in that goal. The death and suffering of your kind is sometimes a byproduct of this goal. I do not wish it, others like me do not, but sometimes there is no choice.”
She looked down to the ground and looked back up. From the Eldar’s body language, she might believe she was feeling guilty. “As for personal preference, I do not hold disdain for your species.”
Andromeda looks up and smiles warmly at Ysedra. "I truly appreciate this. I never knew that about the knife ears. Do you know when and where they will strike so we can be properly prepared?" Andromeda was pleasantly surprised at the xeno for even providing this information without hostility towards her. "...I-I hope I have not offended you."
