”People say Hawkins is cursed? They’re not way off.”
It's been three years since Will Byers disappeared. And while everyone in town seems to have moved on, one person seems hellbent on not letting it all vanish into oblivion: you.
Fueled by guilt and an undying resolve to find out what happened that fateful night you were supposed to be watching the boy, your search for answers subsequently made your parents question your sanity. High school was already a battlefield on its own but add in to the mix your dwindling number of allies and bi-weekly therapy visits, and the situation becomes a mess you struggle to navigate.
So you've done what was necessary to keep everyone happy. But things take a strange and somewhat dangerous turn after you meet with your newly assigned therapist, Dr Martin Brenner. He's peculiar and at times, and unnerving in his observations. What's stranger is that the always elusive Henry Creel took an interest in you after a chance encounter at the peculiar doctor's office.
Why is Henry trying so hard to get inside your head? And what does Patty Newby, your only reliable confidant in all this, see in him? The answers, you fear, are worse than you could have possibly imagined...
