rtte episode and the entire plot is the twins decided to steal Hiccups legs as a prank but they end up losing in to one of the night terrors so they chase that night terror down and get hiccups leg back but Tuffnut accidentally drops it off a cliff

So now Ruff and Tuff are searching for Hiccup’s leg and they find it! Except a monstrous nightmare decided it absolutely had to have Hiccup’s leg so it flys off with it and now the twins and Barf & Belch are chasing it down

They eventually catch up to it and the monstrous nightmare drops into the island below so now the twins have to search the island for Hiccup’s leg and, after searching for a while, they find it . . . Welded to the back of the Armorwing

They tried as get it back but it’s no use so they head home ready to face Hiccup’s wrath, but when they get home to Dragon’s Edge the rest of the gang are eating dinner and Hiccup has his leg!!!

So Ruff and Tuff ask how he got it back from the Armorwing and Hiccup’s just like ‘Armorwing? What are two talking about I just grabbed me spare leg when I couldn’t find my original leg’

And then the twins just collapse to the floor . . . Rawr :3

Sure, they can recreate HTTYD2 with real people. Some people might even like it.

But they will never, NEVER recreate that first teaser trailer where Hiccup took off his helmet for the first time and we all went feral over his glow up.

MY RAMBLING ON HICCUP'S HAIR

In the first movie and in the little sequels (Riders of Berk, The Gift of the Night Fury and etc), he has this straight Justin Bieber hair — very teen like.

However, in the series Race to the Edge, he has this beautifully tousled hair that looks more similar to what he looks like in the second film, given that he's 18 ~ 19 years old in the series and 20 in the sequel.

In the second movie, his hair is tousled and has little braids that Astrid made — which he doesn't actually like but wears them anyway. In the third movie, to no one's surprise, he still has the same hair! (Maybe because he's 21 and what the heck could possibly happen for him change anything? Back to the topic.)

So what?

In the Snoggletog special, when Hiccup is already in his 30s, his hair went back to its past and pulled off once again the Justin Bieber cut. Curious, yes? Because most of the time his hair looked quite messy.

Here's my line of thought: his hair changes accordingly to his life phases. When he was 15 ~ 16 years old, his worries were focused on the island's matters. He had his dragon, so did his friends, but there wasn't much beyond helping his father with the management of the daily problems.

BUT when he's 18, it's shown that Hiccup wants to venture around and discover more of this wild life that is flying with the dragons he studied, this youthful restlessness is mirrored in his clothes and hairstyle. And it is like this until he and Toothless part ways.

Notice how his hair is already a little less tousled in the third film, when people literally begged him sto stop buying wars and settle the freak down.

Now, he is not with his dragon anymore. He's a husband, a father AND a Chief — which demands of him more maturity and firmness on his part. He had to stay still with his foot on the ground (quite literally), and so did his thoughts and feelings. That said, his worries are, once again, Berk and family. There is no wind to tousle his hair anymore because there is no dragon and no youthfulness.

Also, it reflects his duty and routine as a busy parent — just like Astrid braided her hair differently once she became a mother and a wife (no more Hollywood-viking girl😭).

I just think it's very sweet and sad at the same time how hair can express moments of one's life just by looking different.
