The best thing Epic the Musical has done is opening the gates to the greater mythology fandom. Before these silly songs, it felt like you had to read Percy Jackson to enjoy mythology in online spaces.

Back to drawing now that I’m recovered from top surgery. So I gave Apollo top surgery scars.

As I hit chapter 20 of my first manuscript, I can’t help the overwhelming feeling of dread. I thought I would be excited this close to the end, but that excitement is smothered by anxiety.

I wonder if the effort was worth it. I wonder if I put any effort in at all. Did I need to do more? It came so easy, that couldn’t be right.

It feels like I finished a sketch of something wonderful. Something I never thought myself capable of drafting, but I’m worried it will be ruined in the line work. I’m scared I won’t pick the right colors, or the lighting will alter the desired mood.

Will the final work even be the same sketch of which I’ve grown so attached?
