Lorelai was paying close attention to the directions that were given in the cooking class in Italy that her and her friend was taking. The dish was obviously homemade pasta. Teddy gave her a quick reassuring look and laughed “ That we do,” he nodded. He shook his head “ It just sounds like an addiction to me ,” he laughed, joking with her. “ Oh yeah I heard about that. Fashion week sounds fun. Illiana always wanted to try and go, but just never got around to it. Are you excited or just already waiting for it to be over with?” He chuckled

"Hey, if you or anyone wants to tickets to any fashion show that I am in, please let me know." She said. "I'd love to fly you all out and it'd be fun having people from town with me while I was working."

Emersyn smiled at that, a little nostalgic herself. “Yeah, you can’t compete with memories. Even the prettiest places don’t hit the same if they don’t know your history.” She gave a small shrug at the mention of work. “The salon’s good. Busy, which I can’t complain about. It keeps me on my toes. I just have to remember to actually take breaks like this instead of pretending I don’t need them.”

"Hmm, that's very true, though being a model, does mean I've gotten to make some history in other countries, none as good as the history and stories I've made here though." She laughed. "Good, you deserve to take breaks and reset your body! Not everything has to be all work and no play."

Teddy raised his brow and laughed at her input " Hm... now I know my signature color. Thanks!" he laughed. He nodded " Yeah I know. Anytime I get her shoes, she gets excited. Her closet is filled with shoes and I can't remember where half of them go to fit in the new ones," he laughed. " But how ya doin? Anything new happening?" he asked her.

"What can I say? We look great in colors that are bold." Serena laughed. "You can never have too many shoes, and that is speaking from experience." She shrugged. "I'm doing really good and no, I'm just enjoying my downtime before I really have to leave Red Edge again for some sort of fashion week."

Emersyn let out a soft laugh and nodded, her gaze following the line of the pier for a moment. “Yeah, it’s hard to shake a place that knows you too well.” She looked back at Serena, expression warm and curious. “So what finally pulled you back this time. Nostalgia, unfinished business, or just the ocean calling your name again.”

"Maybe a mix of all three, though if I'm being honest, as much as I love European beaches, nothing will beat the beaches here that have so much nostalgia and great memories for me." Serena looked at Emersyn with a smile. "How have you been though? Business going great at your salon?"
