Kiara rolled her eyes. "Come on Brittany, you can't lie to me. I've grown up with plenty of addicts in my life." She told her. "Now, tell me the truth and if you don't, I will slap you so far back, you'll be back in your mother's birth canal."
"I mean, I very much can stay indoors all day, but I feel like that won't do me any good either."

"Oh my gosh, hi! It is so good to see you!" Brittany smiled as she walked out of one of the clothing boutiques. Should she have been worried about that her secret was out and that she was addicted to a certain drug substance? Probably, but she truly didn't care. "I'm doing good." Kiara nodded and looked over Britany. She hadn't read the blast, but she had heard the rumors that came along with the other woman being exposed. "How about you?" She cocked her head to the side as she studied her.
"I know we just spent a whole month in Italy, but I am ready for another vacation. I felt so refreshed while we were away." @rededgestart

Lorelai smiled at her all sweetly " Well it's good to know I still got charm," she said with a laugh. " Nice to meet you Kiara, I'm Lorelai. Are you from here or just getting use to this place?" she asked her.
"Nice to meet you too, Lorelai and I am from here. Not like born and raised, but I've lived here long enough where I feel like I'm a local here."
"Hey, what's up?" Declan asked the friend who had come into his house. He had been watching TV and just been having a lazy day. He put his hat on backwards and looked at the person. "Need me to kick someone's ass?" @rededgerpstarterblog
Kiara laughed. "Calm down." She teased him. "Let's get you out of the house though, because you can't just stay indoors all day."
"I wanted to know if I could sit with you, actually." She admitted. "I could use an unfamiliar, but friendly face, to sit with."
Lorelai smiled while she checked her out abit and nodded " I would be honored to sit with the hottest babe in the diner, of course you can join me," she told her as she pushed the chair back abit with her red bottoms.
"Aww you're so sweet, flatterly will get you everywhere." Kiara laughed and sat down across from her with a smile. "I'm Kiara, by the way."
"You're very welcome, Callum." Kiara smiled at her friend. "And don't act like the batshit crazy people in this town doesn't keep you occupied." She joked.
"Hey, if they didn't keep me occupied, I would be out of a job." Callum chuckled. "So I can't complain too much you know?"
"Oh come on Callum, there is nothing in this town that will make you unemployed." Kiara laughed. "I mean, think of all the craziness here." She added.
"Hey Nash, and no, I don't mind. You might actually keep losers away from flirting with me, so I could very much use you here."
“Wow, straight to bodyguard duty, huh?” He said, amused. “I don’t know how intimidating I really am, but I can definitely stand here and look unapproachable if that helps. Happy to keep the losers at bay. Just say the word and I’ll turn the ‘don’t even try it’ energy up a notch. Honestly, if you ever need a fake boyfriend to make the scene extra awkward for anyone, I’d gladly assist, strictly for protection purposes, of course.”
"Well yeah, that's what you're here for, duh." Kiara teased with a smile and looked at her friend. "Thank you, I do appreciate it, but I am excited to catch up with you. You can tell me everything that's been going oin with you."
Lorelai had just came into town a few hours ago and needed something to eat. She had found the nearest cafe after dropping her bags off at the Airbnb. Then sat down at a table and red off the menu to herself " Hmm... eggs benedict looks promising. I could do that orrr...classic pancakes with a side of bacon is always a good time mhm," she nodded. Suddenly she heard a voice above her menu and she looked up and smiled at them. "I'm sorry what? I was distracted by the yummy pictures on this thing," she chuckled. @rededgerpstarterblog

Nash ran a hand over his forearm, tracing the tattoos that marked stories he rarely shared. His boots scuffed softly against the sidewalk as he walked, eyes scanning the familiar streets with the precision of someone used to noticing details no one else did.
Something—or someone—caught his eye ahead, a flicker of movement that didn’t belong to the usual quiet of Red Edge. He approached slowly, his voice low. “People tend to hide things in this town.” He said, almost as an observation to himself.
He stopped a few feet away, tilting his head slightly. “You ever get the feeling some things in a town like this only reveal themselves if you know where to look?” His gaze held theirs steadily. “Before you ask, yes, I do tend to notice things most people don’t. Could use some company that doesn’t involve nodding politely at everyone I’ve known since high school. Mind if I walk with you? I promise I don’t make a habit of sticking around unless it’s worth it.” @rededgerpstarterblog
