What i love about Regigigas is that most people will depict it bigger than it actually is.
Like despite being barely above 3 meters tall, which is "quite lorge" compared to humans' size, but it sounds "very smol" when we think about the colossus.
I mean, let's be honest, when we are presented with a mysterious golem of ancient times, sealed away by a lost population, whose strenght, according to legends, was capable to move land the size of continents, in our heads we expect a being at least thrice the size of what the pokedex tells us!
For the regis to be 3 meters tall would be comprehensible, even somehow we can accept they're human sized, but Regigigas is the king of giants, and so subconciously we want to honour its title and make it very big.
Its 3d sprite looks always so small it is unsettling, like it is crippled, like it shouldn't be true.
And even the anime and the manga agreed strangely because every time it was showcased, it looked always at least 10 meters tall. Because you cannot convey the scale of such raw strenght with a monster smaller than most tree species!
And honestly, i think the main reason why we always depict it bigger than it actually is, is because watching such a colossus big as a mountain, so strange and alien that we cannot even comprehend it, and yet whose crushing might is also a so delicate touch that it was capable to craft offspring of its own, roaming the lands or sleeping for ages overgrown with vegetation, yeah it is the best aesthetic ever!

The links in these comments lead to sites asking you to verify your identity by providing payment information. This is a common credit card scam. AO3 does not ever ask users to provide payment information, and the Policy & Abuse committee will never comment on your works asking you to "complete an identity verification process".
If you encounter one of these comments or believe your account has been compromised, please view the instructions under the cut!

Select the "Thread" button on the scammer's comment. This will take you to the specific comment page.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Policy Questions & Abuse Reports.
In the "Brief summary of Terms of Service violation" field, enter "Spambot".
In the "Description of the content you are reporting" field, enter "This is a spambot, their username is USERNAME."
Reporting in this fashion helps us auto-sort your report so that it can be handled as soon as a Policy & Abuse volunteer is available. To help us address reports about these types of bots as fast as possible, please only submit one report per account, and don't include multiple accounts in the same report.
