Lunalie and the Dark Fae

The dark Fae live in the "pit" of multiverse, where the roots of the World Tree end. It is there Nightmare builds his castle when the dark Fae beg him to rule over them.

The dark Fae are not monsters, like the normal Fae in the Dreamfalls. Instead, they are the "ghosts" of the negative feels that eventually fall off into the Void. They don't have souls, or even complete wills. The only thing that they truly desire is survival, in which they need concentrated negative energy to accomplish.

Normally, the life of a dark Fae only lasts for a few weeks. But Nightmare learns that they can extend their lives by devouring each other.

Of them, Nightmare picks one to be his personal servant in the castle. He gives her the name Lunalie and she/her pronouns. Her loyalty to Nightmare, however, is shaky. As a creature of pure negativity, her behavior can be rather sour, unless she is threatened back into submission.

She's less likely to torment Nightmare. But Dust, Horror and Killer are fair game to her cruelty.

In the image, the dark Fae all appear to look like Dream. This is because the image is from Nightmare's perspective. The dark Fae take on the image of who you "fear" most.

For Dust, they appear to look like Papyrus, to Horror they look like Undyne, and to Killer, they look either like Chara, or like Toriel depending on which stage he's in.

Bonus: for Cross, she appears to look like XGaster.

I can't help but feel that calling a skeleton "a sans" is actually kinda brilliant.

Aside from it being a reference to our favorite Undertale bone man, the fact that "sans" means "without" just automatically makes my brain go "Ah, without flesh. Obviously!"

It's also mainly why as I'm absorbed in the Sans AU fandom, it's much easier for me to see Sans characters as being individual persons rather than "different versions of Sans."

There's a few that do fit that category for me, sure, like Fell and Outer, but others that don't, like Ink and Dream.

I don't know what my point is here other than make more skeletons please! Make them as unique as possible or as similar to Sans Undertale as you want. I wanna see them all!
