Just realized it has been a year since posting on this blog...and so much has happened I share on my other one! Under that rainbow I said yes to my fiancé when he asked me to marry him at sunrise on my birthday on that beautiful island in Georgia. Miss my daughters so much...lost my grandma... my dad is battling so much with his health...just a roller coaster of emotions!

 in the 80's you and your friends would exchange handmade safety pins with beads threaded on them.  You wore them on your shoes and the more you had the more friends you seem to have.  Trading them and making them at recess was a big deal. While on vacation, the shops have cute little trinkets to remember the beach.  i think remaking these with some of the itty bitty sea shells (that already have holes in them) would be a great craft!  some blogs that I've found even have  letters spelled out in groups (like the link!)

Outta my funk

I'm at the beginning of a separation that I DID NOT see coming.  I'm in a funk.  I'm in a cloud of mess and I need to find a place to live ASAP.  I hate not knowing, I feel like a complete and total disorganized mess.  I can only pray I can find something with room for us, the dog and cat...my sewing machine, paints, tools, and supplies.  That's it.  I just need to start the new phase now...I've lost my patience.

Amusing

I LOVE amusement parks.  Roller Coasters...bring'em on....even though I HATE heights, I somehow LOVE these rides.  Looking forward to summer with a few trips to some Ohio parks (we have the BEST parks)

Porcelain

There is something very timeless about porcelain dolls.  There are babies, vintage and primitive Victorian dolls, and a huge variety of fashion dolls.  Porcelain brings to mind delicate features.  There are beautiful makeup tricks to achieve it.
