Winter...go inward and prepare to transform
Jade and striped icebergs. “When seawater at depths of more than 1,200 feet freezes to the underside of massive ice shelves like East Antarctica’s Amery Ice Shelf, it forms ‘marine ice.’ Enormous hunks of ice calve—or break off—from the ice shelf, creating icebergs. When one of these icebergs overturns, its jade underside is revealed. The wondrous color of this ‘marine ice’ results from organic matter dissolved in the seawater at those great depths,” explained Audubon Magazine. “Green icebergs are infrequently seen because their verdant bellies are underwater; it’s only when they flip over, a rare event, that their richly colored regions can be seen before they melt. Striped icebergs, perhaps even more scarce than jade bergs, are thought to form in one of two ways: either meltwater refreezes in crevasses formed atop glaciers before they calve icebergs (creating blue stripes), or seawater freezes inside cracks beneath ice shelves (creating green stripes).”

The awesomeness of Mother Nature.
What is success? It is being able to go to bed each night with your soul at peace.

Don't believe everything you see on TV, read in the newspaper/online or even what you think. Listen to your body and your soul; they know what you need.
Go for a swim! Pool, lake, creek/river, or ocean it doesn't matter. Water is incredibly supportive and freeing, ocean water has the added cleansing of salt. Your inner child loves playing in the water too!!
The Bobcat animal totem as a wealth of information to share with us but only when we are ready to heed the message!
Much can be learned if we are open to seeing.

Walking in Darkness
As humans, we like what is easy. We revel in clear skies, simple decisions and serendipitous moments when all is well and the picture of life is vibrant. That is the persona of what ‘should be’. Yes life gives us those times and often in the unnoticed, or more likely ignored, corner of awareness is a part that is waiting for the juggling balls to drop. It always happens. Use any analogy you’d like…what goes up, must come down, life’s a roller coaster or a box of chocolates.
Being human is hard so first off, stop waiting or expecting and be present to what is now. What do you do when you feel like you’re the lead character in the shit show? Do you stand in the muck and hope that someone will free you or do you find your own shovel to clear a path? In a recent journey Persephone said to me “the darkness can be beautiful. Enjoy the darkness but don’t stay in despair”; solid guidance from the Queen of the Underworld. Dark times are learning times. Many people see them as tests or measures of strength in the now. I see them as lessons, sometimes projects that have several parts. Usually there are no guidelines or instructions. Uncomfortable? Yes. Scary? Absolutely. Impossible to overcome? Only if you stay in despair. I’m not saying you have to be unfeeling, militant and tough. Enjoy the darkness, have and acknowledge all of the emotions running through you. Take SOME time to be wounded, vulnerable. But don’t stay in despair. Heal your soul and LIVE past this time. Find the beauty (the lessons) in your darkness.
These are freaking amazing. There are tons more of these detailed fantasy miniatures on the artist’s website: EV Miniatures
