The likes of our ego and souls are almost opposite.

For example, the ego likes praise while the soul likes genuine respect.

The ego likes showiness, while the soul prefers privacy.

The ego likes noise while the soul likes silence.

In each one of us, either ego or soul is dominant. Of course, we embody qualities of both to varying degrees.

In some, the soul is so dominant that they become monks and renounce the material world altogether. At the same time, others manage to keep a balance somehow. Few are highly prevalent in ego, and it comes out in their everyday interactions with the world.

THE SECRET SANTA

.What is the purpose of my life ? This is one question I hear often. I was also struck in this question for considerable period. Human mind loves to create situations which keep them looking forward because we are pretty sure it is not in now . We think that question will lead to a place , space ( mind ) and something profound will happen. Trust me , that question can be exhausting process mentally. Many says my purpose is to serve people with ( just examples) music , yoga , painting, medical science, alternative medicine, serving poor etc etc . If you closely look into these objectives and goals , looks doable always. However, more is the story why you are not able to do it now !!! The story line is pretty similar with everyone. Present family commitments, financial requirements and of course the most famous time ( read no time) . My take after walking this question for few years- .

This was a burning question. I became seeker of this question. Then I heard that there are sessions which are conducted where your purpose of life can be found!! Being little intuitive person, did not make sense to me without knowing or understanding ( what’s that) . Being a voracious reader has its advantage , you keep exploring various perspectives on the subject and yet there is no perfect answer. Then came across a book of Deepa Maa ( recommendation by NS , on a different context) where suddenly in the middle of the book reading, I had this realisation that my question had dissolved . I was not very sure , the question that gave fuel to my life , kept me awake at night, it gone!! Instead of being worried there was a sense of peace. The purpose of life is S I M P L E . Only to be present in every moment 100% involved. That’s it . .

Once we are present, life experience life fully and completely. The GOD ( grand overall design) is manifested and one can witness it being spread like light, wind , love and joy . Rest of the things that germinate is a by- product or just mere outcome, cannot be limited as purpose!! .

I’m here laying in my bed. Thinking, because what else is new?

I’m jobless and a uni drop out, blindly certain that this year I’m going to become so successful.

I have a fulfilling job that aligns with my soul purpose, while also creating financial stability and freedom. I have genuine relationships and connections with like-minded souls. I am healthy, thriving and live a divinely balanced lifestyle.

Am I oblivious? Maybe.

Will the universe serve my dream life on a platter for me this year because I’m not letting my ego get in the way of my intuition? Most definitely.
