A day I don’t die, or a day I ain’t hooked to something to keep me inches from it, is damn near polite.”

         A breath HITCHES within her, barely noticeable to anyone without an untrained eye. She is CERTAINLY something else, in so many different ways it makes his head spin. He was never sure where he stood with her; are they FRIENDS? Perhaps MORE, or are they LESS?
