If you're a yankee, stop complaining about military spending and how it should go to funding public transportation. All your west, the wealth of your country, was stolen from the global south. Recognise this. Recognise that it was never yours. The army you complain about is the one that (attempts to) enforce this statu quo, and empower extraction of wealth.
