then i need to share that when i saw this post i immediately thought of an idea i had previously to write a prompt for starcrossed!matt & sheriff’sdaughter!reader where they somehow manage to escape town together for literally less than twenty four hours and in said town they go to they find an old photo booth where they take photos together and storm accidentally leaves the photo strip of them in the machine and realises too late when they’re driving home and she’s freaking out over her dad somehow getting hold of them (they’re hours away might i add) and matt pulls over, they bicker over her stressing so much and it leads to super hot car sex buuuuuuut as usual i second guessed myself that it was a boring idea and never ended up writing the prompt lmao !

what was matt and lucky last argument about?

they had a fight recently cos they had arranged a few days prior to go for lunch together when he was working so she came to the dealership to meet him just before his break started and when she got there, the lady on reception told her that he’d already left to go for lunch with his dad, chris and some new clients :( complete accident on his behalf and super out of character for matt but he’d been crazy busy and just let it slip his mind. he had to grovvvvel for forgiveness because as you can imagine lucky was very upset !

all the time. they’ll do lots of walks in the park with rolo, breakfast dates, trying out new coffee shops in town, late night drives, late night trips to the beach, they’ll go to their favourite gelato spot on the beach practically every night in the summer (favourite cos it’s owned by a couple who are good friends with their parents so the owner always gives them an extra scoop on the house and a free puppy ice cream for rolo lmao)

are lucky and matt touchy in public

matt & lucky have always had a pretty touchy / affectionate friendship even before they are what they are now (she would always sit on his lap at parties if there was nowhere else to sit, he’d hold her hand or have his hand on her lower back to guide her through crowded rooms, he’d carry her when her feet start hurting in her heels when the group are walking home kinda vibe) so now that they’re in loooove it’s all pretty much the same (which is helpful cos nobody suspects anything different) it’s just now the touches always linger for longer than they used to / or like she’ll sit on his lap even if there are other seats available etc.. !

rarely ever. when they’re mad at each other / fighting then they more so (especially lucky) go quiet on each other. they’ll also try give each other some space to cool down so that they don’t get into a situation where they end up yelling / getting more heated than it needs to be cos they’re frustrated. matt & lucky don’t often fight so when they do, it’s always more sad vibes than angry :(

lucky ﹒﹒ probably pretty similar to matt. she’ll smoke when she’s tipsy on girls’ night, at parties etc and also i had a really cute bestie scene between lucky and chris in a prompt i never finished where they snuck off at a dinner to smoke together when they were tipsy and now it’s like a headcanon i have that they’re each others smoke partner 🤝 lmaoooo
