Name: Kane Starflame

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Orientation: Pansexual

School: Life

Personality: Sweet and outgoing.

Bio: Grew up poor, raised by his brother in a small village. Farmer guy. Would rather give out all his crops to his neighbours than make even a penny’s profit while they suffer. In fact, that’s what happened. So he decided to study magic in hopes that he could do more to help.

Other Facts: Actual clairvoyant. His premonitions of the future feel as though he is dying, every time. He theorizes that a part of his soul really is ripping itself away from his body to bring glimpses of what’s to come. Really interested in non-magical medical practice. Sleepy all the time.

Personality: Really quiet. Like, really quiet. It’s unsettling, you won’t be able to tell what they’re thinking. Happiest on their own.

Bio: Valerian never knew their father, and was instead raised by their mother. They were made to do everything from cooking to cleaning to shopping since they were old enough to know how. Mysteriously, their mother ended up dead, and with their newfound freedom, they decided they would study magic. They chose balance for the sense of control it gives them.

Personality: Comes off kind of snooty but it’s just her upbringing. She loves friendly competition and will go out of her way to help others, despite her naivety on how, exactly, she might be able to do so.

Bio: Alexandria was born into wealth and excess, and though she was groomed to be heir to her family’s fortune, she always longed for a more hands-on life. The final straw was when, at age 9, she found she was arranged to marry someone she had never met when she came of age. She decided then and there that she needed out, so she left her upper echelon life behind to study magic and overcome hardships

School: Death, also maintains study in life

Personality: Can appear grumpy or unapproachable, sometimes even hostile-- however, this is due in part to fitful sleeping, and mostly focused inward. Is a perfectionist allowing himself no room for error, and this harshness towards himself can bleed into his outward appearance.

Bio: Nathaniel was raised by his grandmother, as his parents died when he was very young. He had one friend who he cherished, a girl named Carina who was diagnosed with tuberculosis on top of an already compromised immune system. Eventually, it claimed her, leaving him heartbroken. He originally enrolled at Ravenwood intending to find a way to bring her back-- and to ensure that, once he did, he could keep her sickness at bay-- but Malistaire’s actions left him frozen in his tracks. There in his face was a warning, and it was up to him to decide if he would take it.

Other Facts: Drinks way too much coffee. Simultaneously wants to appear masculine and ambiguous, so his style changes often. Owns an impossible amount of plants.
