Then I added gouache, and suddenly we weren't on the same page anymore 🙈

Been working on this little mermaid and finally finished. Still learning with gouache, but kinda happy with how this one turned out. What do you think?

This drawing was on the verge of staying just a very messy sketch, but after adding color and rendering, it's not as bad as I initially thought.

Today’s sketch is my second favorite color combo from Monday, and I love how it turned out on this paper. It feels so much better than the purple one. That little star at the bottom might be my favorite detail. ✨🥰

So, yesterday I shared my color exploration, and the most I loved was purple. Tried it on a cat sketch today, but I totally forgot the paper’s yellowish tone would affect the colors. They ended up more muted than I expecte.
