A low scoff pushed past Arden’s lips as she cast a glance back at the door still hanging open. “Doubt it,” she muttered, head giving the slightest shake. “There was a line of teenage girls and their moms out front earlier—looked like some influencer bullshit. Whole lobby was flooded with ring lights and TikTok dances.” The thought alone made her want to crawl out of her skin. Arden couldn’t imagine growing up like that—every move broadcasted, every opinion picked apart by strangers online like it was blood in the water. It sounded like hell.

Still, there was something to be said for putting yourself out there. She just didn’t know what.

Her gaze flicked back, catching the pamphlet in the other woman’s hand. “You look like you got separated from your field trip group,” Arden drawled, brow arcing as her eyes flickered down to the pamphlet in Serkan's hand and back. "You just killing time before a job, or are you off for the day?"

"As sad as it is to admit that out loud there is not a single part of me that's shocked." he exhaled. He himself wasn't big on social media but he did recognize how big social media played a role into things these days. He also understood how big social media was this day and time; especially living in Los Angeles where the pressure of Hollywood already made it's way into most people's lives. Not Serkan, but he had also learned quite a bit ago that he wasn't one that cared. As he looked back at the door with a shrug he turned, looking back at the other. Not his business after all. His own pamphlet in hand, Serkan's eyes averted towards it as she commented and he shrugged, letting his gaze meet her face once more. "I guess I do." he admitted. "Off for the day." he admitted. "Or at least for now." It was no secret that Serkan had a tendency to work even on days he was supposed to be off. Most of the time it just came down to if he was needed or not. "And in more cases than not when I'm off I'm here." he admitted. "Art's kind of the one thing in my life I let myself nerd out about."

" the ratios of milk and espresso are different. i won't bore you with the specifics, " she half-explained. griselda knew a lot about different kinds of drinks, to her own dismay. being a barista wasn't exactly her passion. but frankly, she wasn't keen on explaining anything to anyone, no matter the subject. it wasn't her forte. people either knew how things worked, or they didn't. her patience didn't extend beyond that. " okay. next time i'll knock your socks off, " she smirked, noting the crease of his smile. were those dimples ? how the hell did she not already know who this man was ? the brunette made a mental note to scour the internet for information about him, upon learning his name. it was turkish, she knew that much. and though it was very possible that he was just a run-of-the-mill, standup citizen, she also knew of a particular group in the city that originated in that country. it was her ( real ) job to keep track of that sort of thing.

eyebrows raised a bit with amusement. " you're used to it, hm ? tell me, what is it that you do, sir ? " she batted her eyes a bit, leaning on her elbows over the counter while waiting for the coffee to finish brewing. the other customers in line could wait.

Serkan didn't know the first thing about fancy coffee drinks; he barely knew anything about coffee in general aside from the fact that it kept him awake throughout the day when business was slow. At least that was the way he looked at it. So when the other simply answered his question with as few words as possible, he nodded, letting that be enough of an answer for himself. Truthfully it was all he needed to know; he'd likely not understand nor remember the true measurements anyways if she were to give it to him. It was her next statement that made his smile widen. "I'll hold you to that." he responded with a nod; he wasn't a coffee snob by any means, but, he would gladly show up here again to have his socks knocked off anytime; she wasn't so bad to look at after all. He was barely focused on anything other than her features when he heard her speak again, a blink of his eyes bringing him back to reality. "I'm an executive sales consultant at Grand Tour Drive." he shrugged. "A bit of a car guy, I guess."

Perhaps one of Breslin's most treasured aspects of her job as mayor was the new ability to push for new initiatives or even spearhead them herself, and this one was particularly dear to her heart. She'd pushed for funding for a program for LGBTQ+ youth through Safe Shield, and after working on it around juggling the yacht party nonsense, this afternoon had been the start of it.

The event itself had gone well, and now all Breslin wanted to was to sit in the warmth of success for a while with Kelly and a glass of red wine. Unfortunately, the second her hand touched the door to exit the building, rain poured down in sheets, sending people outside towards the door with a shriek. The mayor sighed and stepped aside, folded her arms, and leaned her hip against the wall as she watched it rain. "It would downpour right when I want to leave," she murmured, then turn as she heard someone at her side. "I'm waiting this out."

"I feel like that rainstorm truly came out of no where." Serkan nodded, shifting a little to hide himself under the building he was standing next to in hopes to keep his clothes from getting drenched. "Don't get me wrong, I feel like the rain was needed but I would've liked to at the very least not be standing outside when it hit." he sighed. "It'll be nice later on though when it cools things off." Though after the words escaped his lips he realized that it may just do the opposite; he just didn't care enough to correct it. "I'm trying to decide if waiting it out is worth it or if I should just make a run for it." he shrugged. "It wouldn't be the first time I've been stuck in rain this hard, and I'm sure it won't be the last." At this point he was just rambling, talking without a real purpose. "Anyways, yeah. You need any help getting somewhere?" he asked. "I know you probably have people to help you, but, I don't mind if they aren't around or something." A shrug. It wasn't that Serkan was opposed to helping the mayor in this town; in fact he wasn't opposed to helping anyone - people of importance or not - and today he was feeling generous.

No matter how much had changed in her life over the past few months, the now eldest Castro always found her way back to her store. In fact, any minute not spend taking care of other business or at home was spent taking care of Flor del Sol; and she loved every minute of it.

It was the first time she'd walked into the front, having taken care of orders in the back for most of it. A figure, seemingly looking around. Smile on her face she made her way over. "Welcome! How can I help you?" Isabella didn't judge, even if the clientele of her floral boutique was usually of the higher echelon of Los Angeles.

Flor del Sol wasn't exactly a place Serkan typically ventured towards; in most cases he'd honestly avoid it if at all costs, but something about the curiosity in the place had brought him in today. No rhyme or reason, really, just for the sake of his own imagination. Of course, he'd managed to make everything about his entry into the place even more obvious as he nearly tripped over his own feet making his way in; definitely the most ungraceful he'd managed to be in the course of the morning; which said a lot seeing as how he'd already managed to spill a whole glass of water and drop his coffee on the sidewalk five minutes after he purchased it. It was quite the day already. "Hey." he managed, tossing his head in a wave as he looked at the other. "I'm kind of just browsing. Curiosity got the best of me so I finally came in here." he admitted. "But I'm going to do my best not to touch anything; I'm apparently a bit of a butterfingers today so I don't want to ruin something I can't afford - or don't want to rather - pay for."

"In what world would I have left you? In what version of the truth does that even—?" Frustration clouds her voice, cutting off the words when Esra exhales sharply into the emotional weight of how utterly wrong he was. She'd practically worshipped him. Serkan had been the keeper of her salvation, an avenue of escape from the life she'd been so desperate to leave behind. The bitter irony of how that came to fruition wasn't lost on her; the monkey's paw continued to curl even now. "I didn't leave, I was taken from my home. From everyone I knew and cared about." All for the pitiful crime of being young, dumb, and in love. Heavy on the middle part.

The tale he weaves is almost too much to bear and she nearly asks him to stop at several points, her dark hair shaking in response to each unfurling page. It burns to hear from his perspective. Acidic, corrosive. Searing holes through a decade long narrative where he'd been a secondary villain in her story. Are his words truthful? Does his story hold any water at all and even if it might... what the hell is she supposed to do with it now? The damage reaches far beyond them, far beyond what he can fix or what Esra can easily forgive.

"It wasn't a fucking trafficking ring that kidnapped me, Serkan." She refuses to focus on how odd the actual word sounds coming from her lips, a gravity laden phrase not often used. And with good reason, there was no need to provide unnecessary opportunities for spiraling. "I need you to consider who had the most to gain by keeping you in line and preventing us from going through with our plan." His family demanded unflinching loyalty to the Kurtlar. No distractions and certainly no elopements into the sunset. "When they took us, your father's men, they mentioned him by name. Right before they threatened to put a bullet in our heads if we ever thought about stepping foot in Turkey again."

Movement to her left startles Esra and she doesn't make any attempt to hide it before acknowledging the reason for her stomach falling unceremoniously onto the pavement. "My car is here."

She had a right to be frustrated by his statement; there was no world in which she’d ever have left on her own. He knew that, and there was a part of him that had always known that. He thinks that’s why he’d looked for so long to realize she was gone. Because no part of her would’ve ever left him like that. Yet hearing the words spoken outloud; it felt like a knife in his gut while a breath of fresh air all at once. She hadn’t left; and while hearing she’d been taken didn’t make him feel any better, knowing she’d been ripped away made his heart hurt. She hadn’t wanted to leave any more than he’d wanted her to. Her tone was harsh, and while he understood it there was a part of him that wanted to snap back. “I didn’t fucking know that at the time, Esra.” he stated, looking at her. Though the second the words escaped his mouth he regretted it. There may have been ten years of pain between them - ten years worth of distance building - but she was still the woman he’d love so deeply and looking at her face nearly brought all of that back. “All I knew was you were gone. I can’t help it that when I couldn’t find you to talk or get answers that’s the first place I thought to look.” Though when she admitted that it was his father’s men that took her away, it all made sense. His father was behind this. How’d he not thought of that sooner? Though before he could speak, giving himself a moment to process everything, his eyes focused on her again, the words ‘my car is here’ radiating in his ears. “Can I make sure you get home safely? Is that too bold for me to ask you to tag along?”

she avoided answering directly, instead offering a telling little smirk at the next person in line. though griselda made it her business to keep track of an internal rolodex of their customers, she admittedly couldn't place a name with the male. " it's sort of like a cappuccino, " she explained, flustered with the idea that some guy ( bouncy hair and all ) had gone unnoticed for so long. perhaps he was new to the shop, she told herself, attempting to soothe the anxiety of the unknown. " ehh, he's just this kooky dude who comes in sometimes. always trying to hit on me, so i told him to scram. i didn't expect him to leave his drink. " it's a complete and total lie, but she spins it well. " can i get a name, by the way ? " it was one of her go-to tricks to figure out who someone was without doing any real digging to find out. all coffee cups needed a name scrawled on the side.

"Oh, that's interesting." he nodded, a shrug lifting his shoulders slightly before he looked back at her. "I mean, what's the difference in that and a cappuccino then?" the question was one that he hoped wouldn't be too long winded of an answer for the time of day. Things were starting to really pick up in there. He was used to people judging him for his coffee order, but never because the person wanted a challenge. "I was going to suggest you make me something chaotic; you know, something to make the day go by a little faster or something but, when I was basically handed a free drink paid for by someone else I figured I might as well go with my usual." another shrug. "Maybe next time." The smile on his face only grew when she began to explain, nodding. "Funny how some people can't catch a hint." he laughed. "It's Serkan." he nodded. "Though, I guess sir is fine, I'm used to that too." he joked.

Kerem needed to find Serkan. His cousin wasn't answering the phone and that was not a smart thing to do with the environment currently as it was. He didn't suspect anything too serious like his cousin being on the receiving end of whatever the Hollow's next plan was. There were better people to go after than Serkan. But, Kerem knew how his cousin had never had his mind fully in the game. Coordinating with security, he finally got word his cousin was at the art gallery. Truly, it shouldn't have been surprising.

"I'm always worth knowing." came the snappy retort, followed by Kerem's trademark smirk. Of course he had to play up his ego, even when it was just the two of them in the room. "Why weren't you answering your phone?"

"Yeah, that you are." Serkan nodded, agreeing with his cousin despite the fact that he didn't need to. Serkan had always kind of viewed Kerem as his younger brother in it's own way. While some would see the power that Kerem inherited would've been enough for Serkan to be jealous, Serkan didn't mind. He'd never wanted any sort of power or the throne anyways. Hell, some days he barely wanted to do this job. Probably why he'd yet to check his phone in the last few hours. "My phone?" he questioned, though, placed his hand on his back pocket where he kept it and looked at it, seeing in fact he did have a few missed calls from Kerem. "Shit, man, sorry." he stated. "I turned the ringer on when I came in - you know, policy - and didn't realize I couldn't feel it in my pocket." he stated, sipping the coffee in his cup as if missing phone calls wasn't a big deal. the thick paper coffee cup hit the front countertop with a clack : a gavel for her jury, consisting of a half dozen mid-day coffee drinkers. they varied in archetype compared to the jittery malcontent of the morning crowd. the brunette cleared her throat before announcing, " this is an extra if anyone wants it. flat white with a shot of vanilla. " her voice wavered in volume as she tacked on some less important information for whoever was still listening. " the guy who ordered left before i finished making it for some reason. "

there was a reason, though. griselda had berated him — a local former high school english teacher with a tortured poetic soul that bordered on creeper status. griselda had hacked him years ago, leading to the abrupt ending to his career, and still recognized that god-forsaken receding ponytail. one little off the cuff comment about his quarter three shakespeare assignment after he'd ordered, and he'd bounced from the vicinity with the pubescent energy of one of his favored students.

"I mean if he's not coming back I'll take it." he shrugged. "I'm not sure what a flat white is though, but, I'm not going to let you just throw it out." he stated, reaching out to take the drink and then looked back at her. The third floor always felt the most honest, in Serkan's opinion. He didn't know why, but something about the third floor just sat differently with him, allowing him his ability to admire the art the way he often did. Modern art - which he'd had a tendency to see on the third floor - didn't care if you understood it; it just existed. Fractured, messy, loud. All the things that Serkan often resonated with in his own way. He stood in front of a canvas that looked like a scream, half finished coffee in one hand, gallery pamphlet folded in the other. It wasn't like he'd needed it anyways; he'd come here so much that he didn't need it anyways. He was minding his own business, letting it all sink in when he noticed the door to the artist of the month gallery say slightly ajar. Taking a step forward as light spilled out, Serkan cleared his throat. "Anyone in there worth knowing?"

Sullivan rarely frequented bars. They were too loud, and too unpredictable. Yet tonight, necessity demanded an exception. He was there for intel. So, one could imagine his surprise, then, when he discovered none other than Serkan Balik perched alone at the bar, nursing what he assumed was a half empty beer. Sully knew who he was, of course. His livelihood depended on recognizing potential threats to The Family. Despite the man's warning, he eased into the vacant stool beside him.

"I find comfort vastly overrated. Transient, at best." He paused, signaling the bartender for a whiskey. "Since we appear to have bypassed the usual pleasentries, perhaps you might indulge me. Which unfortunate events should we avoid?"

Serkan was certain if one more person asked him what topics they were avoiding, he'd scream. It was his own fault; that's what he got for telling people not to talk to him about the stuff they'd had going on. But instead of arguing, he shook his head. "I'd literally rather talk about the weather or well, anything that's not even tiptoing around the subject of the last few days." he stated. "Like this beer for instance." he spoke, bringing the bottle away from his lips, looking at the label. It wasn't something he'd tried before, but it was a nice surprise. Valentina didn't think it was normal for a boss to just excuse it when an employee lost something valuable, but the only job she'd ever worked was a family business, so what did she know? Maybe his boss was just super forgiving? When he said what the painting was, however, she knew that had to be insanely expensive, so that was a pretty huge loss. "I don't think I've seen that one, but isn't all of Warhol's stuff like worth millions? So someone stole a painting worth millions, and your boss just let it slide? Damn, can I come work for your boss?" She teased. Clearly the art business was as fun as the media sold it to be, so it was an option, should she ever get tired of working at the boutique. As the conversation shifted more to something Val was well-versed in, she tried not to get too excited over getting to explain something beauty related to a man. "Oh, threading is just an alternative to waxing your brows. They take two thin pieces of thread and shape up your brows that way. Honestly, it's better than waxing, and in my opinion, the ladies do a much better job perfecting your brow arch by threading them. I can set you up an appointment with my usual lady, if you want?" She offered as the bartender came over with their drinks and put them down before them. "You're not from here, right? Where do you normally do your shopping? Please tell me it's somewhere interesting?"

"They are." he nodded, eyes focusing on the other with a nod. "Unless their fakes, which I think is why my boss was more forgiving." A lie like this wasn't believable, so he had to think of an alternative. Or he could just change the subject all together; seemed like that was the more reasonable answer. "My boss is also pretty chill though, so, in all honesty you probably could." he shrugged. "If we were hiring more people. There's nearly too many of us as is." he shrugged, letting his attention return at the topic of threading. "Okay, but that sounds more complicated than waxing. What happens if you mess up the technique? At least with waxing you can see where you're putting the wax." he stated. "I mean, I think I'll pass. My eyebrows and I are fine, but, I do appreciate the concern." he stated. He offered a small nod to the bartender, only returning his attention to the brunette once they were alone again. "No, I'm not from here." he shook his head. "But most of my clothes come from the mall, honestly." he stated. "No reason to go anywhere that requires something new." he shrugged. "What about you? Where do you suggest I shop for my clothes?"

Nellie slid into the seat beside him with the ease of a woman who belonged anywhere she chose to sit, her gaze flicking briefly over him before settling on the bartender. “Damn,” she drawled, tone dry as desert heat. “And here I was all ready to chat about the Lakers score.” She leaned back, crossing one leg over the other, casual in posture but sharp behind the eyes.

“Didn’t realize I’d wandered into a press conference.” Her fingers tapped once against her glass before adding, almost as an afterthought, “Relax. I’m not here for a briefing. Just figured if I was gonna drink somewhere tonight, I might as well pick the one place where everyone's too tense to bother me., and it was either this stool, or that one,” she thumbed at the one down the way, next to a man who looked like he belonged next to the word 'greasy' in the dictionary.

The mention of the Lakers made Serkan perk up a little, though it was her tone that made him realize he shouldn't move too fast. Her tone was sharp, eyes to match and he exhaled. Maybe he shouldn't have come across so hard. "The Lakers game is something I wouldn't mind talking about." he admitted, though nearly as quickly as he said that he was being greeted with the other's rebuttal. Clearly neither of them had come there to mess around. He shuttered a little as his eyes focused on the other, nodding slowly. "This is the better option." he nodded, despite the fact he'd nearly bit her head off when she'd arrived. "I agree with the drink thing though; it's usually quiet out here." he shrugged. "And even when it's not I've learned if I keep some sort of drink in front of me people usually leave me alone. "

I didn't forget anything.

Neither had she and that was the worst part. A perpetual knife in the gut for years whenever Esra closed her eyes, endlessly carving out the memories and the what could have been's. None of which were relevant to the woman she'd chosen to become as a means of survival, rather it's the lingering grief for her past self. For the girl who smiled with ease, loved ferociously, and dreamt of a fantasy life that would never exist. She was still laying in a grave somewhere in Germany. Mere bones now.

His claims of looking for her only twist that same sensation, but the wound is numb. Hollow, scarred over. Esra doesn't know how to believe him yet the urge is there, impulse perhaps from being in his presence after so long apart. And then it dies with the emergence of his temper; accusations hurtling towards her like shards of ice. They melt and evaporate, but the damage remains as she gingerly takes a step back from him.

"I left you?" Incredulous really. She'd laugh if the entire night hadn't already drained her so completely. "Which part of that made sense when it was coming out of your mouth?" Her own voice doesn't raise to match him, instead she levels the man who once encapsulated her entire world with a fractured glare. "You're right, I wasn't there. I wasn't in my home, or with my friends, or Aslan. I was in another fucking country after your family terrorized mine and forced us to relocate in the middle of the night." Kidnapped still felt strange on her tongue all these years later. "Did you even ask your father what happened?"

To her, it's ten years of abandonment and looking over her shoulder. To him, he's been searching all the while, although Esra can't fathom where to put that information now. Too much time had passed, too much damage had been done. "Where the hell were you looking that it took ten years, Serkan?"

Eyes were focused on her, searching her face as if to remember all her features again. Not that he'd ever forgotten; they'd been the last thing on his mind, what he thought about as he fell asleep at night for so many years. She was stunning, even more so now. If he let himself - which he wouldn't, he could never forget how he'd felt the day she'd disappeared - he was certain he could fall in love with her all over again just by looking into her eyes again. But with that feeling came the reminder of how broken he had been for so long. So fucking long. He couldn't let himself go through that again. "The hell do you mean what part made sense coming out of my mouth?" he questioned, eyebrows raising at her question. What part of it had been confusing? That had been exactly how it had happened. She'd. Left. Him. Cut and try. Clear as day. He opened his mouth to speak again when she continued, reminding him of all the places she hadn't been. As if he couldn't have forgotten. And yet there it was. The words 'your family' embedding themselves into his brain like he was speaking English for the first time. "My family?" he questioned, eyes glued to her again. "I-" he paused, shaking his head. Words couldn't form, they wouldn't form, but he suddenly had so many more questions. "What the hell is that supposed to mean?" He'd get to the back end of that question in a moment. "Every fucking where." he stated, nodding his head as if to emphasize where he had looked. His journey to find her had been what had brought him here to begin with. "I looked everywhere I could think of." The statement was simple, yet he looked at her, exhaling as he placed his hands in his pockets. "When there had been no traces of you anywhere, I went to the only other place that I know that could've been where you'd gone to. A trafficking ring in Turkey. I was convinced they'd kidnapped you or something, hidden you away from everyone. And your family too; at that point I was too distraught to think too clearly on anything else." he stated, though he looked back at her again, trying to form a coherent sentence. "They'd convinced me that they didn't have you. I didn't believe them. I trusted the wrong people, nearly got myself in trouble with them and that's when dad sent me here. Said that I needed to remember where I came from and essentially sent me here in what I think was his own version of a time out." he paused. "He told me he'd clean things up, even said he'd keep looking for you. His own version of a promise in a sense. But I get the feeling that you know something I don't." he swallowed, feeling anger build up in his stomach as he tried to put the pieces together. "Are you saying my father had something to do with this or am I completely misreading what you meant, Esra?"

Just about the only meaningful change the yacht party brought to Theo's life was the soaring heights to which it brought her students' distractability, particularly with those outside the art department. Why pay attention to anything in an intro to medieval art class when their phones allowed them to soak up the most dramatic thing to happen in LA in the last decade? Some part of her couldn't blame them, but mostly she deeply wished people would let go already. Some mafia asshole died and his kid got shot--nothing really outside the norm as far as she was concerned.

Upon taking a seat and flagging the bartender to order, the man at her side spoke, his words earning him a flat look that bordered on irritated briefly before Theo relaxed, content to ignore his request. She ordered a negroni, then turned to him, chin in her hand and elbow on the bar, expression a picture of blank innocence. "What's happened in the past several days?" she asked, feigning ignorance.

A quick roll of his eyes was immediately followed by the shake of Serkan's head. "I don't want to talk about it. Like I said." his voice carried a bit of a growl, something he didn't like doing but certainly wasn't opposed to. It just mattered on when it was needed at this point. "A lot of shit. Shit that I don't necessarily care to go over again or think about so I'd appreciate it if we could talk about literally anything else." an exhale as he closed his eyes, swallowing before he spoke again. "I'd rather argue that this place has the best coffee in town or that the sky is purple than to talk about the last few days." he added. "So please if that's all you want to do go find someone else to bother."

Valentina had felt like she hadn't stepped outside of her own people for even a simple conversation since the yacht fiasco, so she was eager to hear someone else talk about their life, or their job, in general. Anything beat discussing the serial killer that was on the loose, so she found herself sinking right into Serkan's words as he talked about art, something else she adored. "I'm sorry about your painting, and that your job was on the line. You must have a generous employer though if they didn't fire you for it." She hummed. "What kind of painting was it?" Not that she kept up with notable artists, but she did have an appreciation for any good piece. "Today's been a decent day, so far, so I can't really complain." Val answered as she motioned the bartender over, ordering herself a tequila sunrise before she turned her attention back to Serkan and studied his facial features. "I wouldn't say your brows are bushy, but a little threading could be good anyway. And playing dress up will either send you out on a shopping spree, or send you out on the town for a little fun, if you know what I mean. What can it hurt?"

"Yeah, my boss is pretty great." A small lie wouldn't hurt, not considering he kind of was the boss. "They knew that the situation was out of my control. I just didn't move fast enough." a shrug as if this was the most normal thing he could be talking about. "It was Warhol's Silver Car Crash." he admitted. That just happened to be one of Serkan's favorite paintings, and while he wasn't convinced that the one replica he'd actually seen of that painting in his life time was real or not, that wasn't going to change his story. When the bartender arrived, Serkan let her order her own drink and then ordered his own, giving the bartender a nod of appreciation as he left the two alone to continue conversing. "Glad you're day's been good." he smiled. A genuinely spoken sentence. He let out a small laugh when she stated that his brows weren't bushy, though he couldn't help but wonder how they got on this topic to begin with. "What even is threading?" he questioned, eyes focusing on her for a moment. "I used to hear my sisters talk about it all the time but I've never understood what it meant." he shrugged. "Going out of town for a shopping spree doesn't sound half bad though."

Sly smirk settled on Ava's lips once she was sure she'd got his attention, her body turning slightly more in his direction so that she was almost face to face with the man now. "I've got a couple ideas, but they all depend on how far you're willing to go honestly." Ava shrugged. The Network's name has been stained among a couple other names and while she had complete faith in their PR team at clearing it, she couldn't stand the idea of sit and wait. Not when she had her ways of tying some loose ends. Trust was fragile little thing but capable of restoration. "So, tell me, how far are you willing to go?" Certainly farther from a sweet little talk but how. "May I suggest a small game as a start?"

Serkan couldn't deny that the other's words had him intrigued. He could tell from the start of this conversation that there was a bit of curiosity or playfulness in her voice, a sure sign that whatever she was about to offer was going to be interesting. "I mean, I can't really answer that without fully knowing what I'm getting myself into." he stated, eyes focused on the other as he did. He wasn't opposed to telling people what they wanted to hear, but, he wasn't stupid. It wouldn't be just at any cost. He was nearly about to repeat his answer when she asked him the question the second time, but he refrained, letting himself look at her as she mentioned a game. "A game. Sounds like something I could be really good at or something that could land me in trouble." he stated. "What kind of game are we talking about?"
