Salutations! You can call me Serpens or PM, whichever you prefer. Welcome to my Tumblr blog! I'm creatively-inclined, and I like to write and come up with stories for all my little puppet beans! I also got back into drawing, so there's that too! I found out what I’ll be using this blog for—whatever I want, apparently! Hope you enjoy my ‘whatever’! WRITING PROMPTS - Prophecy

A prophecy states that the world will end after our greatest singer dies... but we don't know who that is.

"I hate my prophecy."

A prophecy encourages a king to overtake every neighbouring kingdom.

"Do you believe in prophecies?"

A prophecy is found that is made up entirely of terrible screams

"No one believes me. I am the truest prophet, but no one believes me."

A prophecy is misunderstood, and the world is destroyed.

WRITING PROMPTS - Actress

An actress kills a cameraman for trying to fim her off set.

"I'm an actor, darling."

The actress of the villain falls for the actress of the hero's love interest.

"Mic. Drop."

Two actresses commit suicide in the middle of the red carpet.

"Yeah, no, I didn't write that bad review of your movie. It actually sucks that bad."

The world ends. Aliens save their favourite actresses.

"You can't act, bitch."

The shadows on earth all disappear... but nothing else changes.

"I'm... I'm afraid of the dark."

In the pitch black, something sits in the shadows and watches us.

"Oh, baby. The shadows aren't so bad! I find them sweet and warm."

Two shadows fall in love.

"Where... where are we?"

When the goddess dies, something emerges from the shadows to protect the remains of humankind.

"It's so dark!"

WRITING PROMPTS - Dragon

A dragon decides to take over the whole world, and most people let it happen.

"Fear me, fuckers! I have a dragon!"

Two dragons like to roleplay as princesses and knights.

"Dragons aren't real, kid. Don't look behind me. Don't listen to the growl. You can't smell smoke. Close your eyes."

The monster in your closet is a dragon.

"Uh... isn't it illegal to ride dragons?"

A dragon-in-disguise eats a housecat to avoid getting caught.

"No, yeah. I'm totally a dragon. I just pretend to be a dinosaur because people think that's cooler."

Everyone on land dies a sudden death, and everyone aboard a ship is left to rule over the world. Pirates become the most beloved of them all.

"I'm a pirate, mate. Obviously I've kissed a mermaid and almost drowned. I don't know any pirate who hasn't."

The queen of the gods is a pirate.

"Ah, don't fear the seas, my love. She's a mistress who can often be tamed."

A lesbian pirate falls in love with a princess afraid of the waves.

"Don't trust the sea."

Piracy is made legal.

"You never should've become a pirate, dear. Too many of us want you dead, and now we can do something about it."

The Enigma of Amigara Fault

This short story by Junji Ito is about a fault that appears in Amigara mountain after an earthquake. The earthquake exposes countless human-shaped holes in the mountain which seem to have been made about a thousand years ago. People, intrigued by these  silhouettes, gather at the site and that’s when things get creepy.

It’s about a 15-20 min read, but if you haven’t read this before, you’re in for a treat. Link above.
