The young summoner looks at the odd man in front of her while he looked back. She dare not draw her tome or command her egi for there was a feeling that he might’ve been the guardian of this place.

Is he human? "Um…excuse me sir, who are you…?" Garuda asks him, trying to swallow down the nervous emotions bubbling up in her.

The Serpent King dropped his hand, rising from his throne of ruin. He certainly looked somewhat human but his hellish aura and blue skin said otherwise, the closes he had ever been to Man was a Mystic, divine and now fallen from grace as the one who brings annihilation to a race he had protected so many years ago.

"I am the Serpent King Orochi" He answered, his voice sounding like two speaking in perfect synch.

"Speak, mortal. What brings you here?"

"Wh-what the hell? Where am I? Did the damn Gatekeeper send me to the wrong place again?"

His command sunk in, and she smirked.

"I don’t give a crap if it’s you domain or not, you clearly don’t know who you’re talking to if you think you can boss me around. So I’ll just do what I do to everyone who makes a wrong move around me. I’ll kick your ass."

"I don’t even need Etna and Flonne for this, you look like you’re gonna be the easiest fight I’ve had in a long time. I can beat you even in this body."

Orochi was more amused than insulted by her use of profanities and attempts at calling him weak. Orochi by far was more powerful than his calm and relaxed attitude suggested, it was proof enough that it took more than one hundred different officers to defeat him.

"I have participated in many battles lately. However, I have yet to find a warrior capable of defeating me" He announced, his left hand darting out to the side and summoning his large weapon. A scythe appeared in a mist of purple and black.

"Come, Queen of the Afterlife, show Orochi your self proclaimed power" He beckoned, metal plated claws forming a small invisible space as though he was mocking her.

"What the hell? Who the hell do you think you’re calling mortal? I’m not some freaking human! I’m the freakin’ Overlord of the Netherworld, who the hell are you?"

"..." Orochi took a moment to subconsciously question whether she understood the meaning of the word or was simply too feisty to pay it much attention.

She could still die.

Standing from his throne, he took a step forward, vanishing in a puff of purple-black mist before appearing in front of her, his towering form imposing her personal space as he glared down at her.

"Overlord in the Serpent King's presence, step down creature of the Netherworld, you are in my domain" He commanded.

Orochi could not define the make of the man who had entered his palace. He seemed to be some sort of machinery yet the Serpent King could sense the presence of something living, something he could only compare to the half Mystic, half cyborg Nezha and that thought alone would have made his blood boil had he not been in such a eternal sleep induced calmness.

"Speak, mortal. Where do you hail from?" It sounded like two voices speaking in perfect synch, his voice quiet but echoing through the empty chamber with demanding quality.

This was the King whom Liang's father had abandoned Wei to serve, he was nothing more than the embodiment of destruction and around him was the impeding sense of doom with its invisible fingers crawling out and scarping towards anyone who came within close enough distance.

He stood upon a ground of ashes that had once upon a time been homes to humans just peacefully living out their lives.

Orochi blinked as he stared down at the petite girl, his pointed ears twitching slightly as he disintegrated his scythe, seeing no reason to deal with the most sorry looking human he had ever come across. It was strange how she reminded him of that pesky little girl that Da Ji kept around, Himiko.

Did Kiyomori bring her here? Was she supposed to act as a catalyst to restore his power just like Himiko did so many years ago?

He had no idea.

The darkness was only illuminated by a purple-black glow, almost like a fire burning in the Serpent King's hand as he walked through the shadows of the empty ruins that had once been a palace. Spirits of every kind seemed to linger here and yet none of it seemed real, until the Hydra incarnate's gaze flickered towards the silver haired man.

He did not speak but there was no real need to, his own existence bored him and he awaited the day that humanity would finally bring their bloodlust into his domain. Was this unfamiliar warrior worth his time?

The creature before him was not human but female. She appeared to be a reconstruction of something, a fragment of more power yet if she could not fight nor join him in his path to destroying humanity she was of little interest to him.

But either way, she must have been naive and curious like a child or simply foolish to have wandered into his territory unguarded, the ruins of the palace were not an inviting place and he only lingered here due to having once lived here before his current incarnation.

Orochi leaned his cheek against his metal plated knuckles, his cyan and crimson eyes watching the human patiently.

Now this was interesting. The man who stood before him looked humane to some extent but his aura spoke otherwise.

"Speak. What are you?" A rather strange yet direct question addressed to the former human, yet it was not as unusual as their meeting. This man, whoever he was, bore the symbolism of Orochi's current form, serpents and snakes, gleaming fangs.

Orochi's heterochromic eyes flared open, his gaze shifting towards the unfamiliar woman who had dared to enter his domain unannounced. Sharp eyes narrowed into a glare promising of pain as he summoned his scythe, the large weapon appearing in a fog of purple-black mist yet he did not stand from his throne of ruin.

"Imposing mortal, leave at once" His dual sounding voice echoed throughout the vacant room, seeming to come from everywhere at once.

Orochi stood over the dusty plains where his army had once marched. Sparks and fire had engulfed the village that had once stood here, the flames covering the sky in unpleasant smoke and black clouds which promised a heavy rain.

It would pass eventually, just like the civilisation which had once lived here but nonetheless, Orochi revelled in the scent of death and horror which always remained after those miserable humans escaped his wrathful vengeance against humanity.

"I have not seen the battlefield in some time... The voice inside me is demanding even more destruction...!"

She didn’t move nor twitch the moment the man pulled out his claws as if he was ready to claw her. Though she had her own weapon ready just in case if it were to happen.

Instead, he removed her glasses. ” Now that is rude.” She muttered as she reached out to grab one end of her glasses. It would turn into a small tug-o-war if the serpent king still hauls it away from her.

" Clearly I don’t. I wouldn’t want to be in a place where I’d be filled with a bunch of rude men such as yourself.." Glynda said her tone slowly sounding more annoyed than before.

" If giving my name means you letting go of my spectacles then I shall do so. My name is Glynda Goodwitch."

Orochi did not pay her much mind, releasing her glasses.

"I have no gender, I merely assume male form because of previous incarnation" He corrected, staring down at her with such intensity that it may have seemed like he was reading into her soul.

The Serpent King shot her a wry look, his pointed ears twitching subtly, the most expression he had shown so far but even then it seemed rather monotonous just like his voice.

"Then what keeps you here, mortal?" He asked, clearly choosing not to use her name. "A man?"

When it came down to human wise, The real threats were definitely Nobunaga and Cao Pi of Wei. Both are rather capable of leading especially with the charisma both leaders carry, Both provides Order and Ruthlessness when needed. Other than that Everyone is on their own if those two aren't around.

He can just feel Orochi's sour and bitter taste from the words of his tone, He wasn't fond of the mystics or the ones who out done him. Perhaps Lü Bu can strike an idea since he works better with demons, Than he does politicians with swords. "Lord Orochi.. I'm going by experience here." He would speak.

"Nuwa keeps a cool head for anything, Fu Xi is never able to step out of the Alcohol. If you were to strike anyone.." This was his dimension, Therefore Orochi was the real god. Should he assert that title officially he has to get rid of the Failure. ".. Shangdi would be your best bet. You without him in power, Would be infinitely stronger than Nuwa and Fu Xi put together. Make enough chaos it hurts him, Hurt him then Nuwa and Fu Xi will feel the pain. Susano-o can't do much either when you throw Amaterasu at him or your in his blind spot."

Orochi's foul mood would not improve unless he shed the blood of those worthless vermin. Shangdi was the perfect target, Orochi had tried to kill him before- when he had first assumed his serpentine form- but Fu Xi had stepped in and protected the self proclaimed ruler of divine beings.

"You have not disappointed me, Lu Bu... As always" It was probably the best form of praise Orochi could come up with. "Da Ji should be informed" The Serpent King noted, leaning back lazily in his throne as he observed Lu Bu.

"I leave Amaterasu to you, mighty warrior... It should quench your thirst for revenge from the heavens.... Amaterasu, shining in heaven, it's almost... comical"

Glynda kept in place as the strange man took a step closer to her. Clearly she knew that he was not happy or even mad at her small response. She kept her posture up, not showing any signs of intimidation since she didn’t feel any. Once one has been rude to the eyes of the Goodwitch, all she could ever feel towards to whoever to whatever they are, would be irritation.

His voice was even annoying to her ears that she had shake her head for a moment trying to get the voice out of her mind.

" I do not know what you are talking, stranger." She said, her tone sounding stern and sharp.

Clawed fingers reached out towards her as though intending to claw or even rearrange her face but he merely took her glasses off.

"You don't belong in my world" He had created this place as one where only the strongest of Mankind survived and the rest of humanity perished. This woman was defiling his perfect arena.

"Name yourself, human"

Glynda gazed at the strange man and she could tell this was an inhuman feeling she felt around him. The markings on his face said so as well. She would depict that this would be the form of a Grimm if it were to be human.

His one word sounded like an offending word , based on his tone and look at her. She frowned at this and decided to play this game.

" Rude."

"Hmph" Orochi scoffed, not at all phased by her small input though he did walk closer, towering over her despite not even being that close his metal encased arms crossing over his chest.

Despite most speculations, Orochi had never been human, the closest he had ever been was a Mystic and right now he was the complete opposite. A demon out to destroy humanity instead of protecting it.

"Do not get ideas above your station, female" His voice resonated, echoing like two voices speaking in synch and yet seeming to come from everywhere at once.
