My name is Hope (They/them). I am 22 years old living in MST (Mountain standard time) in Canada. I am a full time university student, and I work a part time job, my activity usually fluctuates with my university semesters and my peak seasons at work. I don’t need the reactor changed, but i do need to clean the cylinder.“

he shows her his hands, too big for the hole in his chest. thankful the reactor doesn’t need to be changed but he does need to clean it due to the metallic pieces and make sure the magnet is in place. “maybe you can help me with that. your hands are like. . .super tiny.”

❛ Suit yourself. ❜ She doubts that Tony's technology would be as precise as she was. Centuries of tending to injured and wounded villagers and people within the first cities of earth gave you a specific skill set. She's hardly going to fight with him when he doesn't want her help, at least not with that.

Sersi takes one look at where the arc reactor normally sits in his chest. Her eyes lifting from the hole to meet his gaze when he suggests she helps him. ❛ Is that supposed to be a compliment? ❜ She asks, looking at the hole again. When you are alive for hundreds of lifetimes, you see a lot, but the idea of having something like that in your chest made her stomach twist.

❛ I don't even know what that is, but I am willing to find someone who is more experienced to help you with whatever that is if you point me in the right direction. ❜

This isn't real. That's what Sersi said when she walked into her apartment to find Ikaris standing there. She didn't need his response to know he was really there.

It feels like she can't breathe, as if the air has been knocked out of her lungs entirely, and no matter how hard she tries, she can't get a breath in to replace it. Her heart was hammering against her chest harder than it ever had before, a wave of emotions washing over her, making her feel like she might drown under the weight of them.

Ikaris had left her with no explanation, and centuries had passed since the last time Sersi laid eyes on him. Now he was standing in the apartment that she shared with Sprite, and she could barely form a coherent thought. She'd never moved on, not in all of those years that turned into decades and centuries, telling herself it was because it was unfair for her to find someone new when she wasn't capable of loving them in the way they deserved when in reality, she was still riddled with hurt and betrayal. Her ability to trust anyone enough to even open up to them about herself, let alone love them, shattered into so many pieces Sersi wasn't sure she would ever be able to put them all back together.

The wound Ikaris left was still deep and bleeding. She'd given him everything, loved him with everything she had, handed him her heart, married him, only for him to leave her like none of it mattered. It had Sersi questioning why she suddenly wasn't enough for him, what had happened to make him go. She'd even tried convincing herself something terrible had happened, and that's why he never came back, mourned him while he was still alive. Now he was standing there, in the place that she had made home, in the place and the life she had made for herself in his absence, and she couldn't even bring herself to be angry, forcing that front to protect herself from what looked like the potential for another devastating heartbreak. She couldn’t let that happen, not again, not when she had barely survived the first one.

❛ Did Sprite tell you where to find me? ❜ She questions, forcing her tone to be something much colder than her normally warm and soothing voice, moving past him to set her bag on one of the dining table chairs.

( then again, with the way things had turned out, he wonders if ajak always had a feeling about him. ) had he not always been by her side? had he not always kept her secrets? – a mild clench of his teeth loosens as his eyes lock on her. previous disbelief replaced by sincerity towards her. ❝ i will follow your lead. ❞

Ajak chose you. Sersi isn't sure if those words would ever sound or feel real to her, and she still isn't even sure why Ajak chose her. She wasn't a natural leader, not in the way some of the others were, not in the way Ikaris was. Sure she could step up and lead when and if needed like anyone could, but she preferred to listen and follow, taking a role in the background instead of commanding and leading with all eyes on her looking for guidance she's not sure she knows how to give.

If she's being honest, Sersi isn't even sure the others will recognize Ajak's choice. In everyone's eyes, even her own, Ikaris was always second in command, destined to take over if anything happened to Ajak. Would anyone else accept Ajak's choice if she can't even seem to accept it herself? The swirling thoughts only added fuel to the fires of her self doubt. She wasn't made for this.

❛ What if Ajak made the wrong choice? ❜ She questions softly, gaze meeting his, the concern written across her features clear as day, but she didn't know how to put that worry into words. She doesn't know how to open up to him anymore like she had in the past before...before he left her. It seemed like the days where she told him every little detail of how she was feeling with ease was a whole different life from this one, maybe because, in a way, it was.

❛ I'm not a leader, Ikaris. I can’t think of one reason why Ajak would choose me over you. It was always supposed to be you...she loved you. ❜ Sersi knew Ajak loved all of them, but not in the way she loved Ikaris, it was always different, he was always her favourite.

I am… not a chronologically locked rp blog.

That means that if you talk to me to establish that we want to ship our muses, or have a particular relationship or type of report between them, I am 1: totally okay with multiple threads of varying length and styles with you and 2: will probably jump around in the supposed ‘timeline’ of our muses relationships in order to keep things interesting/ make ask prompts work.

For example, we may be writing an intro thread with our muses, but if you wanna send me a thing for like… a first kiss that may happen months down the line (and shipping is what ur up for) go ahead and do it! The way I see it, separate points on a timeline are FUN to RP because then you can look back later and figure out how they connected/ try to work in little details that make them flow together.

Since the memories had started to come back to her, Sersi had been extremely cautious. It was easy enough to hide, they only came to her in the form of nightmares or flashbacks triggered at seemingly random times by random events, actions, or words. She didn't become violent or confused, but she knew the first thing the others would think of was Mahd Wy'ry. They all knew about the incurable sickness, minds fracturing under the weight of their memories, causing madness.

Her newest memory however had her daring to ask questions. It was one of the more confusing ones so far, Thena speaking about another planet, how they were all going to die before attacking them all. Ajak said Thena had Mahd Wy'ry in that memory before Sersi woke up. If Thena had Mahd Wy'ry on Earth, the planet she seemed to be remembering. Perhaps she would also have memories of Earth.

It was quite the risk, with very few ways to brush off the questions she planned to ask as a pure curiosity or even as something she had overheard some of the humanoids speaking about as they weren't advanced enough to know there was anything beyond this planet, but it was a chance she was willing to take.

The Amazon was not Sersi's favourite place for multiple reasons, but she needed to get away from the city, away from London and go somewhere no one would think to look for her. Besides, it had been a few centuries since she had last seen Druig, and that entire situation hadn't been left on the best of terms.

Walking through the rather basic village brought her back to when there were no large cities busy at all hours of the day. If she was being honest, it was a breath of fresh air, one that she desperately needed. There was no doubt that Sersi loved the life she had created for herself, but recently she couldn't shake the feeling of being constantly overwhelmed. Why Druig was the first person she thought to go and visit was a mystery to even herself, but the more she took in her surroundings, the more it was clear that this was the right choice.

She eventually caught the attention of one of the people, smiling at him as he made his approach, questioning if he could help her.

I just saw the eternals again, and the more I see it the more I start to piece things together. My friend and I were talking after the movie. I kind of think Thanos was right. So I guess thats the crisis I’ll have for the next week.
