I keep seeing people on tiktok say quote "In a couple of years we'll be at the point of no return." For climate change. Is there any basis for this? Because I was an environmental science major for 2.5 years. While I dropped out, here is what I understand:

1. The "point of no return" in terms of preventing climate change was 2015/2016.

2. Parable of the starfish.

3. While easier said then done, all we really need to do is switch to renewables completely (which we'll have to do anyway) and carbon suquester the excess in our atmosphere. The reason we haven't done this is the ruling class is really, REALLY dumb.
