Wow. Hi. It’s been nearly four years since I last touched this account. I’m Kuiper. She/They. Almost 26. I’m a local TV news morning show producer, which basically means I write the entire show. Creative writers, listen to other writers when they say you shouldn’t take a professional writing job if you want to write on the side. No. You aren’t different from everyone else. I work in news, and sometimes at work I get to see some very very entitled people send in some really whiny emails over stupid stuff. No Susan, the Oscars aren’t more important than the incoming dangerous tornado warned storms you stupid noodle. People’s lives are worth more than a silly little awards show you can rewatch at any time. Disrespectfully, if you are one of these people, I wish you a very warm pillow for a whole month. Reflect and do better. Severe weather is a very serious thing and it’s our job to keep people aware and safe.
