“Nice name, dude...”
Priya made a face. “Orange juice? I also have a juicer but my ass is too lazy to whip up anything. Plus i kind of have a hangover. Anyway, want a glass of some good ol’ OJ?”
“Yeah, if you’re offering. I’m parched quite frankly. This being dead thing is turning out to be kind of.. well, boring if I say so.”
Millie smiled. “It’s a pleasure doing business with you.”
“I bet it is. What’s your name, by the way? My name’s Seth.”
“Oh I-I’m sorry I .. can’t..”
“Why’s that, sweetie?”
“I had a wild night last night, but sure you can come in! There’s beer in the fridge, and I’ll order breakfast if you want.”
“Looks like you did. You got anything else? Seems a bit early for beer.”
I….I don’t know….what….what any of…..that means.
“Okay, then just leave it. Who are you?”
Gale quickly tensed up, watching as the strange ghost turned towards her. Fear suddenly washed over her, emerald hues scanning to see if he was harmless or not. “Um, don’t you think that’s a bit personal or something…?”
“Not in the slightest. It’s a good way to get to know each other.” Seth smiled, gesturing her to speak. “Tell me then. Share with the group.”
“Ehm.. who are you.. talking too?” The brunette asked, turning her attention to the loud, dramatic male.
“You.” The man scoffed, as if she’d asked the most obvious question.
Millie quirked a brow as she listened to the boy’s request and couldn’t help but smile. “You sure that’s all you want? A coat?” She asked. “I’ll get you your damn coat for an extra hundred.” Millie knew she’d have to result to another tactic to buy the coat due to her being, well… dead. Although she’d figured it out if it meant she could get some money herself.
Seth thought for a moment about her offer, resting his fingers against his chin—pretending to think hard. “Hm, okay... that sounds like a good deal, and it’s a good thing I’ve got money to blow.” He smiled, digging his hand into the pocket of his jeans and retrieving his wallet.
“Thanks,” She smiled. “You’re lucky that you’re someone I wouldn’t mind doing me.”
“Oh, is that an invitation?” Seth grimaced, with a slight chuckle. “I’m Seth, darling. What’s your name?”
Gale had been trying to ignore the strange man; though it seemed to be a bit hard as he was whining like a five year old wanting a new toy. His voice kept ringing in her ears, causing her to want to stab herself. Multiple times. A loud, annoyed sigh left her lips as she finally turned towards the odd man, annoyance highly obvious. “Look, I can’t get your stupid coat, okay? You’re not the only one on hotel arrest.”
“Well, not with that attitude.” Seth scoffed, directing his gaze away from the girl for a brief moment, before turning back at the mention of “hotel arrest”. “Ah, so you’re dead too?” He assumed, becoming intrigued. Leaning forward in his seat, he grimaced. “How’d you die?”
“I’d love it if I could go outside and buy this particular Emporio Armani coat from the Fall collection, but unfortunately I’m on house—hotel arrest, and I can’t. If only someone would be so kind as to get one for me with the cash I’ll supply.” Seth spoke loudly, turning his gaze to the person he’d been trying to get the attention of. “If only!” He sighed, dramatically. “I just don’t want to be cold, because this hotel is like a freezer.. and I want to be stylish while warm. That’s not asking for much!” Another overly dramatic sigh left his lips.
“ i must admit, I really do miss going outside. it’s winter soon, isn’t it? does it snow here? ”
“I don’t know. Don’t really come up for the winter, usually I’m hibernating.”
“I’m new here, so I don’t really know what is considered ‘fun’ around the hotel. Apart from some people who’ve said that apparently ghost hunting really passes the time. What do you do for fun?”
“The pretty ones.” He said, attempting an awful joke. “Don’t worry, deary. You make the cut.”
