I probably shouldn't add any of these, but what do you guys think?))
Let it Snow | Gumi and Gakupo
Gakupo thought this over for a moment. He would never understand why Gumi enjoyed that strange machine. What was the point of moving a controller to get a fake result on a screen? But he had asked her, and it would be incredibly rude not to do what she wanted to do.
"Alright," he agreed with a small nod. "After we finish tea." He didn’t sound too disappointed about it — Gakupo wasn’t one to show much emotion, either way. He sipped at his tea calmly, leaning back in the chair.
Gumi beamed up at her guardian. "Alright!" She sipped at her tea some more, thinking. Her friends would probably wonder where she had gone off to suddenly, though. But she didn't want to message them with Gakupo still there.
"How about you go out there and set it up? I'll be out in a minute! I, uh, want to get changed first." She figured that was a good excuse. Then she could spend a minute to set her status as away.Â

She could feel him trembling. Surely it must have been with desire for her, barely suppressed. It was like an electric current, running through the connection of their joined hands. From very far away came the voice of the manager. “Okay, Tei, now why don’t you sit on the desk, maybe use your hand to lift Len’s chin to meet your eyes?”
Tei did as instructed. Beneath her fingertips, she could feel his pulse, under his chin. She wished she could feel it better, maybe wrap her fingers around his neck until she could feel the heart that beat only for her there.
Len felt his heartbeat quicken under Tei's possessive grip, practically fearing for his life at this point, and he knew Tei could feel his pulse. He wasn't able to keep eye contact with Tei anymore, and he dropped his head. Great. Now it was obvious. Mumbling something about using the restroom, Len left, as quick as he could without looking terrified.
Luckily, the restroom in this building was a one-person room, not a pair of gendered stall groups. He splashed water onto his face, looking at himself in the mirror. He was a bit of a mess right now. He really needed to calm down, work on getting his nerves together. The sooner he could keep level-headed about this, the sooner the shoot would be over with.

Let it Snow | Gumi and Gakupo
Gakupo nodded, easily enough. Of course, he usually thought games were a waste of time, but if it meant spending time with Gumi, then it was serving a purpose, wasn’t it? Making his cousin feel like she was being taken care of was important, and that meant making sure that he gave her enough attention. In this situation only, games seemed very worthwhile to him?
"What game do you want to play?" At this point, she knew all of the games, and there was no point listing them. If he had to choose, it would be chess, but she usually seemed bored by that. A shame, it was actually a fairly stimulating game. But this was about Gumi, so he’d let her choose.
"Hmm..." Gumi thought about that for a moment. Most of her good Wii games were one player, since Gakupo wasn't one to usually play them. But it wouldn't do any good to play a single player game. Too bad most of the fun multiplayer games weren't rated E.
"How about Wii Sports? That way we can get some exercise while still staying inside." That seemed like a justification he'd buy. It wasn't her first choice, but it seemed the safest choice.

She could have laughed, really. Like you’re soulmates. As if this were all some game they were playing at, the two of them. But Len couldn’t have faked the admiration in his gaze, she was sure of it. No, even if he didn’t know it, it was the deepest part of his soul, calling out to her, capturing her. And she let herself be captured, returning the gaze with equal intensity.
"Tei, take his hand, like …" Tei didn’t need to be instructed; this was all pre-ordained. She reached across the desk, entwining their fingers, never breaking contact. "Yes, perfect …"
Len did his best to try and hide his nerves (or was it terror? At this point it was hard to tell the difference). However, he was certain Tei could feel him trembling slightly. This was closer than he ever wanted to be to her. And surely she'd misinterpret it, as she always did.
He could only hope this wouldn't last much longer and he and Rin could get out of here.

Tei looked at Len, face blank. “Nothing here is simple,” she said. But before any more could be said, the two of them were being dragged off to the desks, positioned for the shoot. Rin crossed her arms over her chest, watching the two of them from the edges. Tei paid her no mind.
"Okay, now look into her eyes like you're soulmates!" the director instructed. Len gulped. Tei could sometimes entirely forget the line between acting and reality. Nonetheless, it was his job to do this. He gave her his best loving gaze, although her piercing red eyes that seemed to bore into him did not make it easy.
Let it Snow | Gumi and Gakupo
Gakupo took his own cup, nodding. “If it’s boring, we should do something!” He didn’t want her to feel bored. Part of taking care of her was keeping her entertained, right? He had assumed she was content sitting in her room, but perhaps he shouldn’t have. He would be more cognizant from now on!
"What do you want to do?" He nodded at the cup in her hands. "After tea, of course." He sipped at his own tea, thinking this over. "We could play a board game, or watch a movie … Or read a book together?" There were lots of things that could be done. They used to bond like that almost every day, before their jobs made things a bit less constant.
Well, great. She had just ensured he probably wouldn't leave her alone for the rest of the afternoon. She considered backpedaling and insisting that no, really, she was fine with her book- but backpedaling always looked suspicious. She'd just have to play along. So much for finishing the next chapter of her fic.
"A game sounds nice," she answered. She momentarily wondered if she could convince him to play a video game with her. Sure, Gakupo was old-fashioned, but Mario was far older than he was- and if there was any video game fit for your grandma (or in this case, a 20-something man who acted like your grandma), it was a Wii game.

Tei’s eyes fixed on Len, her tone serious. “Of course not,” she said. She wouldn’t mind anything with Len involved. She’d run to the ends of the earth for him. She’d die for him, kill for him. But that was a strange thought, one best avoided. Len would never ask her to kill. And killing wasn’t acceptable, of course.
And now she had been staring at him for far too long, not even answering his question. She looked out to the set, her expression almost contemplative. “Yes,” she said, her voice soft. “It’s typical, really … Far too typical.” Didn’t they understand that what she had with Len transcended such tropes? Of course they didn’t, no one could possibly comprehend the complexity of their connection.
Something about this girl just gives me the creeps. He shook it off the best he could. "Well, at least that means it's simple," he remarked. And hopefully, that it would be over with soon.

Tei wasn’t one to smile much, but she did so now without hesitation. To hear her name in his voice was so sweet, even in such a formal manner. One day they would share a name, but for this moment, the surname had never sounded more melodic. She was silent, smiling, enjoying the echoes of it still lingering in the air, just beyond where the ear could hear. But she could sense it, she really could.
Then that girl was speaking, polluting the air that had been so sweetly perfumed with her own noxious tones. “How have you been, Sukone-san?” Her voice was too shrill. She couldn’t stand the silence, could she? Or, perhaps, couldn’t stand the bond promised in that silence. After all, Rin only shared blood with Len — Tei shared a soul. Perhaps she was jealous. Tei could take pity for that.
"I am well. Very well. Thank you." She gave the girl a look. "I was not aware the photo shoot would be having anyone other than Len-kun and myself."
"Oh! It isn’t, but I’ve got nothing better to do, so I figured I’d hang out!" The girl gave a smile as false as her words. Tei would not begrudge her it, though. Let her take her time with Len while she could. One day, Tei would steal all of his time, and watch the grains fall in the hourglass one by one, until they ran out.
"I hope you don't mind Rin staying, Sukone-san," he said, more out of politeness than anything. "Since we have the same home, we usually go home together, so we decided it would be best this way."
He shifted a bit, the costume a little uncomfortable (at least half of the discomfort coming from Tei wearing a matching one). He hoped the shoot would be over with quickly. "So, did they explain to you what this shoot is about?"
Let it Snow | Gumi and Gakupo
Gakupo walked in, carrying a tray. “I made tea, since it’s so cold.” He set the tray down on her desk, sitting at the chair. He didn’t much consider asking if she wanted his company — they were the only two in the house, and who else would she rather spend time with? Gakupo wouldn’t leave her lonely at a time like this.
"Are you enjoying your day off?" The two of them had been so busy lately. They actually had a recording session today, but the roads were terrible, and Mr. Inoue had called to cancel it this morning. If their manager hadn’t, Gakupo would have. There was no way he would have risked Gumi’s life by having her out on the streets in this.
Besides, this was a perfect opportunity for the two of them to bond! It had been so long since they had been able to hang out properly, like they used to before all of this fame. Sometimes he worried that he made the wrong decision when he agreed to let Gumi do this — she was so tired all the time, holing up in her room instead of spending time with him.
"Oh, thank you." She took care when getting out of her bed to not show the device under the sheets, picking up one of the cups. Warm tea was always nice, especially on a cold day like this, and it gave her hands something to do so she wasn't tempted to reach for her phone.
She took a sip, calculating her response. "It's nice to have a break, even if it is a bit boring." There- that was good enough, not far enough in either direction to make him concerned. She brought the teacup to her lips again, watching for his response (although her glasses began to fog up at the warm drink).

The set looked like a regular classroom, but to Tei, every shadow was full of hidden promises and secret passions. Because this would be their place, where the cameras would capture their souls and bond them together, entwining them in an eternal photo. Tei had hardly slept, contemplating the idea of holding that photo, inhaling its scent and pressing her lips to its cool surface. She would get it printed professionally, she decided — it was too precious of an object to simply stare at on a computer screen.
The pictures would be published, of course, plastered across both Crypton’s and Utau’s website. That did not cheapen it to her at all. Let all bear witness to their love. Let them imagine it was staged; perhaps even Len himself would think that. He could be so stubborn, so deaf to the call their hearts made. Tei didn’t mind waiting, however. For Len, she would wait an eternity if he only asked it.
By the time Len entered, she was already dressed in the costume given to her, a simple school uniform. Her uncle was talking about something or another, but the second Len entered the room, his voice faded away and became unimportant. There was only him now, only Len. That girl was next to him, saying something, but Tei paid no mind to her, either. She only stood, bowing formally in greeting. “We meet again, Len-kun.” The honorific felt forced on her tongue — when she spoke to him in her dreams, she never bothered with honorifics. They were too close to that, but perhaps people would question it.
"It'll be fine, Rin," Len assured her as they entered. As per usual, Rin was worried. He couldn't blame her- both of them knew what Tei was like, and both of them were rather uncomfortable with it. Nonetheless, he tried to reassure his sister that Tei wouldn't do anything in a photo shoot.
Of course, all of the insisting did nothing for him when faced with her. He attempted to swallow his nerves. "Hello, Sukone-san." They hardly knew each other, after all, and Len knew just enough about her to not want to know any more. He gave a small, respectful bow as well.
He couldn't believe they actually had a photo shoot together. Sure, the Utau group were occasionally included in Vocaloid affairs, but that was pretty rare and usually just involving the girl called Teto. Him getting a photo shoot with Tei, in fact, just him and Tei... Surely that was no coincidence. He just had to hope for the best.
Let it Snow | Gumi and Gakupo
Gumi had been Skyping with one of her online friends, but immediately shut her phone off at noticing Gakupo’s footsteps, shoving it under the fuzzy blanket she was currently curled up under. It buzzed a couple more times, but she pretended not to notice, instead switching to a book she had set up on her lap specifically for this.
She continued to look down for several moments after he came in, just to sell the whole “quietly reading” thing, then looked up, adjusting her glasses. “Oh, hey, I didn’t see you come in.” A lie if she's ever told one, but then again, it came second nature at this point.
She closed up the book she was pretending to read, sitting up straight and facing her guardian. "Anything going on?" A silly question, considering they could hardly leave the house, but she might as well ask so she didn't sound too occupied- otherwise, he might figure she was up to something.

Friends and Family | RP with jillymuses
It had been a busy day for Miku, but she didn’t mind it. Busy days were what she lived for, after all! Still, she was sorry that she couldn’t have made it to Luka’s house sooner. She enjoyed the days spent on Toraboruta Avenue, even if it meant she wasn’t being “productive.” Really, it was worth it.
She stopped at her house before going to Luka’s, even though it meant going a little later. She wouldn’t have felt right wearing the slightly promiscuous dress they had her wear for filming around little Toeto, and didn’t think Luka would appreciate it, either. Instead, she changed into her “stroll style” outfit, glad for the more comfortable clothing. The orange-rimmed glasses that completed the outfit weren’t needed, but the outfit would have been complete without them. Just because she probably wouldn’t be seen by fans didn’t give her an excuse to be lazy.
After all that, it was around dinner time by the time she got to Luka’s house. She wished she could have avoided that, and wondered if she should drive around until dinner was probably done. But it was already so late … Miku didn’t really want to wait anymore to see Luka.
She walked into Luka’s house when the woman let her in, inhaling the smell of the pasta. It was lovely, but Miku couldn’t afford to eat today, not after the scale had showed her at 2 lbs above her target. Besides, things like pasta just had too many calories.
"Ah, thanks, Luka, but I ate before coming over~!" A lie, said in a cheery voice that fit her stage persona more than who she “really” was. But who was she, “really?” She was imperfect, and perfect was the ideal. So such a cheery tone was what she should aspire to!
She giggled and waved at Toeto, although she was scolded and sent off before anything could be done. Miku straightened the headphones hanging around her neck, smiling at Luka.
"Sorry about that, but I would love vegetable juice! Or water, if you don’t have it. Want me to go check?" She was comfortable enough at the Megurine household that this didn’t feel like an odd request. She gestured to the back with one hand.
Luka frowned slightly when Miku denied the food. She highly doubted Miku's excuse. "Are you sure? Really, there's plenty for you to have some. You could probably stand to eat a little more." She untied her hair, letting it down now that it was in no danger of getting into the burners. "No offence, but you seem a little thin, dear."
Toeto bounced into the room again, holding up her now-clean hands to show. "You should sit and eat with us, Miss Miku," Toeto suggested with a smile. "Luka makes good spaghetti."Â
"...I suppose it's your decision, but I wish you would," Luka said with a slight sigh to Miku, not wanting to discuss it in front of her little sister. "And if you want to, go ahead."
