Don't know really how to do these intro posts, so I'm going to draw inspiration from some others I've seen..

My name is Sevika, I'm a fictive alter in a DID system, I use She/Her and He/Him pronouns, genderfluid, I draw sometimes like the rest of us.

Do not treat me like one of those c.ai bots or a roleplay account. I've seen it happen, and it pisses me off.

Asks are open because I'm admittedly desperate for social interaction with people who aren't referring to me as the body's name and expecting me to know every last detail about our host.

so the other day a castmate of mine was talking about having once been a little girl (at this point, i all but short-circuited because said castmate is a man in his mid-sixties and my brain had its little moment of “!!!!! trans person!!! and he’s OLD!!!!”) and being asked if there was a famous person he looked up to or wanted to look or be more like. and he said— again, as a little girl at this point— “santa claus!” and everyone thought he was weird for it.

and this story doesn’t read as well over text because you really have to see the guy. but he looks just like santa claus. he’s got the long white hair and the beard and the belly and everything. and i just. the amount of secondhand trans joy i experienced is truly insane. i’m gonna get old! i’m gonna get old the way i wanna get old! hey everybody you’re gonna get old; we’ve been doing it for years!

Communication in this system with certain alters is shit. I have to learn most important information through what is essentially run off — crumpled notes in our pockets, notes written in apps on our phone, posts on their blogs etc. I would love it if they would directly communicate with me.

Hey — apologies for the late response.

Some alters in our system have historically done something while fronting that has put us in unsafe situations, which is why we try to keep some confined in their interactions — to both prevent a repeat and a potentially new situation. In short; Her not having a blog, alongside others, is a safety measure.

(And some just don't want to go through the process of making and setting one up)
