hello there!! It'd be my pleasure to participate in this survey💯 English is not my first language so I hope it will be clear enough:
1) I started shipping obikin by sheer accident when I was 16. I had no clue what sw was even about, but my cousin really loved the franchise as much as he despised this ship. sometimes I used to even read smut fics out loud just to piss him off really, but 5 years later as I actually watched all episodes I was in awe!! their dynamic and pure adoration of eachother and devotion made my stomach turn! and the inevitable tragedy makes it even more mesmerising
also I don't have second favourite pairing for now, will think about it though!
2) deep down I have unstoppable urge to say and do a lot of things that are wronged by people, so I relate to Anakin while trying to present as Obi-Wan - someone more acceptable and mature LOL
3) as much as I love knights era I absolutely ADORE padakin era!! to think about how Obi-Wan goes from "I never wanted this kid" to "I will die for this kid" is so overwhelming. the way their bond strengthen and their trust towards each other grows deeper awwwh *sobs uncontrollably*
4) probably the one "if Qui-Gon lived Anakin would've never turned to the Dark Side", this one confuses and enrages me because? you mean Qui-Gon who's first apprentice became Sith alongside with his own master? Qui-Gon who never obeyed to the Order rules and, as Obi-Wan concludes later, was just like Anakin himself? that he *checks notes* would 100% prevent Anakin's Fall?? well I suppose....
