End of an era

The “noooooooooooo” that I mentally gave upon hearing of Chris Metzen’s retirement was far more emotional and heartfelt than Malfurion’s in Val’sharah.

Thanks for the memories and the amazing world (of Warcraft) that our imaginations have come to call home. Your passion showed through every time you talked about the games you helped create. You weren’t perfect because none of us are, but you created entire universes and then let all of us play in them, for which I am immensely grateful. Thank you. You may be retiring, but don’t you dare grow up.

You were more famous for voicing Thrall and Varian, but my favorite of your WoW roles will always be Nefarian, so as you face all that free time, let me just say… “Let the games begin!”
