Bit of Meta: Eurovision

Why? Because it’s that time of year and therefore a good time to discuss the muses thoughts on the Eurovision song contest. 

Jane: Most likely offers up their suite as party central. Because who doesn’t love Eurovision? Not only do you get a slew of new favorite songs, but the whole spirit of harmony and togetherness is so touching.

Elizabeth:Of course she loves Eurovision. Everyone loves Eurovision. Though it is possible, she, Mac, and Moira will end up in a debate about the symbolism of song some or another. Also any song that features a violin? Instantly in her top five. Note...she has stormed out of at least one Eurovision party due to a fight with Mac.

Beatrice: #ForeverBitter that the UK never scores well. (She’s trying not to get her hopes up over the fact they’re actually favored to place high this year).

Rosalind: Will neither confirm nor deny that she’s joined some of the others in a small betting pool about the outcome.

Robyn: Is very into it. Demands there be a viewing party...which she usually leaves someone else to organize.

EDIT: Also, for those of you who remember my reason for flaking back in Oct, I am happy to report that we ended up going to get the dog again (after talking to our moms and realizing there were indeed ways to make it work) and that he has been with us for almost three months now. xD

//Sorry for being MIA; it’s been a long week or two. We took in a foster dog that we then had to give up as our house wasn’t right for his needs (he had joint problems and we live in a three story house). It’s kind of put a hole in both my gf’s and my heart. But I’m working up to being able to do things again.

Headcanon: Rehab (Liz)

When the time comes and Liz is ready to (aka forced to) confront her dependency on morphine, she doesn’t allow herself to be checked into a normal rehab facility. According to her, she can’t be. Mac is going to one day be Prime Minister and there can’t ever be a paper trail of her addiction. His enemies would glomp onto that in a heartbeat. Instead, she asks the group to help her quit cold turkey -- with the help of some shady counselors and doctors linked to the program, of course.
