“Okay, I might be exaggerating a little bit, but it’s not that far from the truth,” Marcus hedged, grinning. He sighed into their kiss, getting lost in the incredible, familiar feeling. He leaned down further, putting one of his hands on the back of Theo’s neck as they continued to kiss.

“Oh, shut up.” He mumbled against his lips. Eyes were on them, of course. Two incredibly good looking people as themselves, how could there not be? It was a little unsettling at first, but Theodore got over it fairly quickly, chuckling into Marcus’ mouth and deepening the kiss.

“That’s fine.” She climbed out of the car and didn’t mention the obvious change in vibe. Something had struck a nerve with him and she was hoping that when she came back with cookies and whatever else she could get, things would be back to normal. There wasn’t a whole lot to choose from inside but there was enough. Olivia grabbed a few things, picking pretty randomly, before paying and heading back out. “Here you go. I couldn’t stop myself and got you a couple, why not?”

His time away from Olivia was spent brooding with his gaze locked on the steering wheel, mind in a different place. Theodore couldn’t help back but think back to his last girlfriend, Danielle, and how she’d broken his heart by cheating on someone who was more willing to put out. Ironic, it was, because wasn’t it typically the other way around? But Theodore hadn’t found it so funny in the moment. He could remember the exact moment he’d figured it out, remember exactly how it felt to know that she hadn’t found him worth waiting for. Squeezing his eyes shut tightly, his face was the perfect mask of indifference upon Olivia’s return, small smile playing at his lips to steer her away from the fact that something was clearly wrong. “You’re the best, Liv.”

“And now that this is sufficiently awkward, can we go get food or something? I keep forgetting to grocery shop and I’m starving.”

Addy looked up, her eyes half closed. She blinked a few times, trying to register who was standing next to her. “T-theo?” she muttered, thinking that was who it was. “What’re you d-doin?”

Tentatively, Theodore reached over to brush some hair away from Addison’s face, smiling softly. “Yeah, Adds, it’s me...but a better question is what are you doing?” His other hand was gently gripping her arm, afraid she’d fall over if he let go. “I thought we were drinking buddies.”

“Oh shit, what did I just do?” Willow looked back after hearing a loud noise. She wasn’t paying attention, she got way too into her games. First she was locked in her room with her laptop games and now, her phone games. This needs to end, it’s been four days spent on random and useless games.

“Well, from here, it looked like you didn’t swipe right fast enough, and the poor monkey’s caught up to you.” Theodore shrugged, a what can you do? kind of gesture. “But that’s okay. No one plays that game anymore to even compare you to, so...” His lips tugged up in a smirk, teasing.

Willow snickered at what the man said and soon shook her head at the end “Try a bit harder, babe. I’m a bartender, I hear these things everyday” she started, smiling “and you’d be surprised how much of them are actually directed to me and not another costumer” she then said, shrugging “Wanna give it another shot?” she now added.

“That’s alright. I’m a flirt, I say these things everyday.” Wasn’t that the truth. Theodore didn’t look too ashamed by it, and that was because he wasn’t. Everyone in this building knew of his habits...but they also knew that he never really meant anything by it. Willow would learn this soon enough.

It wasn’t odd to see Addy at her kitchen counter asleep. She had a tendency to fall asleep in strange places. But it was odd to see her face-down on her counter with a mostly empty bottle of Absolut in her hand. She glanced up slightly when she heard a knock at the door. “Is open.” she slurred.

Theodore crossed into the apartment wearing a bright grin. It’d been awhile since he’d seen Addy (awhile being no more than twenty four hours), and now that he was done for the day, nothing was stopping him from spending some time in her presence. “Add--” He began to yell, although pausing when he noticed her slumped form. “--hey.” Theodore finished, frowning. “Adds? You okay?” He took note of the empty bottle in her hand, removing it from her grasp and setting it down gently next to her.

“I say nice things to you all the time,” Marcus answered with a nod, smiling at his best friend. The public situation was new to him where Theo was concerned, but he wasn’t thinking about it. Everyone was focused elsewhere, anyway. He grinned. “Why don’t you come up here and taste them, then?” He challenged the other male, although he soon leaned down and pressed their lips together.

“That’s bullshit.” Theodore shot back, but he was smiling. How could he not be? Even with the challenge in Marcus’ eyes, he knew that his best friend wouldn’t hesitate. Familiar lips came crashing down to his seconds after the threat, and despite the new public setting, Theodore kissed back immediately, hands moving to grip the fabric at his sides and pull the boy closer.

“It’s a light drink, at least in my opinion. It looks like such a feminine drink, it’s pretty” Willow giggled, as she got the sunrise drink and clinked their glasses together “You do? Well, thank you. Everyone likes their bartender” she responded, giggling once more.

“Not as pretty as you.” He smirked, sipping at the drink. Whatever it was, it was damn good, and admittedly, quite pretty. “That is true. Never met a bartender I didn’t like.” Theodore leaned against the counter.

Larron didn’t catch the first comment Theodore made, and that might have been for the better. He watched the food he had bought yesterday be rummaged through and leaned against the kitchen counter as he mimicked Theodore’s false enthusiasm. “Of course. I’m always prepared to have your favourite snacks ready for whenever you come over.” he then reached over the counter and snatched the bag, dropping the sarcasm in his tone, “Seriously though, why can’t you just buy your own food? You’re not that poor.”

“Aw, thanks, ma--hey!” He frowned as the chips were removed from his grasp. So much for hospitality. “Why would I buy my own food when you all let me eat yours? I’m not stupid.” Theodore rolled his eyes, reaching again for the chips.

“Well, be careful and you never will have to see it. But don’t worry, it doesn’t happen often.”

She was intrigued, to say the least, but he fully distracted her by mentioning they were at the bakery. “Yes! Oh my god, this is going to be amazing. My mouth is literally watering right now, lit-er-ally.” She opened up the door before pausing and looking back at him. “So what kind of cookie did you want?

He was glad for the distraction, and managed a small smile in Olivia’s direction. “What did I tell you? I have no preference. I’ll just wait here though, if it’s okay with you.” He didn’t want to give her the ability to question him further on his change in mood.

“I never said that it was an inconvenience or a bad thing. That’s just the way it is. And trust me, I like the way you usually taste. Your lips are always so sweet and it’s honestly amazing.” As if to prove his point, Marcus moved forward and gripped the edge of Theo’s and pulled him so they were face to face.

“It was implied...and that just may be the nicest thing you’ve ever--” He was surprised by the tug forward, bringing him chest to chest with Marcus’ suit clad body. Not minding it, but not used to the public setting, it took Theodore a minute to react. Once he did, it was with a smile. “--said to me.” He breathed, looking up at Marcus. “Can’t taste them all the way up there, you know.” The height difference wasn’t major, but Marcus would definitely have to lean down. “Yours aren’t so bad yourself.”

Aurora hummed against his lips, appreciating his comment, she felt herself getting a tiny bit flustered, but worked through it by focusing on the kiss rather than his words. She squirmed around a little, letting her hands fall from his neck and travel towards his chest, where she rubbed her thumbs against his collarbones. The girl bit down on his lip pulling it back slightly before she let it go completely. “I should’ve came sooner.” she sighed feeling much better than she did when she first arrived.

God, she was amazing. He never got bored being like this with Aurora. He’d opened his eyes just when she decided to bite on his lip and pull back, and the sight of that sent a shock of something right up his spine that had him shifting against her. “You never have to hesitate.” Theo whispered breathlessly, staring into her eyes. It was clear now that she was starting to feel better. “Seriously, Ror...you know I’m here for you. Always.” And not just physically.

The girl closed her eyes, just trying to feel his hands on her, to feel the comfort he was providing her. It was something she definitely needed and she knew she could always count on him to give her just that. But Aurora couldn’t help but giggle against his lips at his response, removing her lips from his. “Don’t get too cocky, T. Doesn’t look good on you.” she said playfully, a grin prominent on her lips, she really didn’t mind it, she actually enjoyed his attitude; it was refreshing from all the other guys she had met. She tried to get him as close as possible, by resting her arms around his neck and tugging him just a little bit closer, as a way to make sure that he was there. She wanted to get lost in the moment and just enjoy it.

Theodore groaned at the loss of her lips against his, although her words brought a smirk to them, eyes opening to look into hers. “Mhm, but you sure do.” Look good on him, he meant, and to prove so, he pulled her back down to his lips and kissed her more playfully than before. He didn’t mind the way he got pulled closer. Actually, he was doing the same--dropping both hands to her waist and pulling her tighter against his body, finding comfort in her lips and body heat.

“Okay cool, just don’t get surprised when we have to drive back and I can’t help you figure out where we are. I could use forgetting too.”

“We’ll be fine. Besides, getting lost means I get to spend extra time with you. Here’s to getting lost and forgetting, then.”
