There's a soft flash of light in a Cargohold of a ship floating in an orbit around Europa, as a Ghost in a shell resembling a Quilled Servitor resurrects an Exo Guardian, Garbed in similar clothing.
He remains motionless on the floor of the ship for a minute before speaking.
"Spark. We agreed that I didn't want to be Awakened unless something happened to the ship, the Traveler Left, or the Darkness showed up."
"I know! So, do you want the good news or the bad news!"
"Good first. Need to remember how my body works again."
"The Good news is, the ship is mostly fine, and still functional!"
"Mostly?"
"The heat shields are intact, and the fuel is still able to be used, once it thaws!
"I'm assuming we're in a vacuum?"
"Currently, yes. I removed the air after the first month, just to make sure we wouldn't have a massive explosion if we got hit."
"Were we hit?"
"Not by anything major! Just minor things, some micro-meteors, a severed Vex Head, a stray round from a boarding crew!"
"Boarding Crew!?"
"Not boarding us, don't worry! There was a brief bout of Guadians being Pirates to help Osiris get better from his possession Coma!"
There's the Groan of metal as the Guardian pulls himself up over the edge of a crate, steadying himself.
"Alright. What's the bad news then?"
There's a flash of light as the lights of the ship power on, and there's a hum from the engines.
"The Traveler left earth, and the darkness and its pyramid ships have captured it. It is currently being held by a being known as the Witness.
Also, Calus is alive, and capturing people, and he works for the darkness!"
The Guardian shields his eyes as he crawls into the cockpit of the ship, the blue body of Europa meeting his eyes with an almost taunting glare.
"Anyone we know be captured?"
"Amanda, the shipwright!"
"Ah, very bad then. What's the state of our equipment?"
The Ghost flits around, casting a gaze along the walls, projecting a small assortment of guns and armor.
"Weak. They lost a lot of the light in them after not being used."
"Shame. Shall we get moving Spark?
"Of Course! Any Destination in mind?"
The Guardian cracked their knuckles, pulling themselves into the seat of the ship, crackling with his weight being set upon it again.
"Wherever we're wanted next, I suppose!"
"Wonderful! Echo and Spark, Heros once again!"
"I guess we are Spark. Guess we are."
