This is really more of a Map Time for episode 2, but we were only given the location of the park that the Fugamon fight happened at in episode 3.
I've added a new green circle to Shinjuku Central Park, right on the northwest corner. As before, the blue circle is the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building while the red circle is Takato's school, and the purple line outlines the district of Nishi-Shinjuku or West Shinjuku.
While they only state directly that that the fight took place at "the fountain" in the park....
Other context clues allow us to pin down exactly what part of the park they were fighting at. This street sign right here, which the government vans are parked outside of, gives us a clear impression of what side of the park they're on.
That sign marks the 熊野神社前 Kumanojinja-Mae, marking the location of Kumano Shrine.
Here, you can see not only that shrine but that stoplight on the northwest corner marked.
And if we zoom in a little more on the park itself....
We have the Sports Court where the fight between Renamon and Fugamon actually took place.
Discernible by the extra high chain link fence designed to stop runaway balls when playing sports. Though the magic of anime makes it a little bigger than the real one.
What's interesting about this is that two Wild One appearances have now happened in the district of Nishi-Shinjuku. This one was practically right next door to the Government Building.
Three if you count Guilmon, who Realized in a construction zone we can't quite pin down but was stated to be somewhere in Nishi-Shinjuku. Three out of three Digimon have appeared in that specific district.
Oh! Also, quick addendum but the parking garage where Guilmon and Renamon are fighting is under the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. I was going to mention that but got caught up talking about the park.
This establishing shot of a curved building with a distinctive disc on top sets our location when Takato and Guilmon go out and test the waters of letting people see Guilmon.
That's the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly Building.
Which is literally right across from the Government Building and its two iconic towers.
Guilmon, Renamon, and Galgomon are literally fighting in the Shady Government Dudes' backyard. Whatever their job is, I'm not sure they're very good at it.
I hope LIghter Guy's car is one of the ones they blew up.
