This might be a hot take but I think any analysis of any form of artwork is valid, as long as you have the capacity to understand why you have that analysis. Like beyond just the evidence you have to support it, do you understand the context in which this analysis was created? If artwork is a conversation between the creator and the audience, you can both have different takeaways from it, but if you dont understand what point you are both trying to make, then it become a true miscommunication.
