Snaters: "it will never be acceptable for a teacher to be a child's boggart"
Well, Hermione's boggart was McGonagall telling her she got bad grades. Ron's boggart was a spider. Newt Scamander's boggart was a desk full of work. The boggart does not necessarily represent the greatest danger someone faces. Otherwise, everyone's boggart would be to see someone they love dead or themselves dead. Children simply have more irrational fears. Or do you really think that Snape represents a greater fear for Neville than having someone in his family killed? Or perhaps we can consider a desk full of work to be a hideous creature.
I thought it was just adorable to see how most kids' boggart was related to random, harmless things, and even two of their teachers. This just shows how innocent they were and how unfamiliar they were with the real dangers of life.
