nobleimportance / donna noble.
“what?” she was clearly annoyed. her arms were already crossed over her chest. her hip cocked to one side as she held back an eye roll. at first, it was just out of instinct, but when she saw the other eating her mum’s crisps, she knew she had reason to be. “oi!” she slapped some of the remaining crisps out of the other’s hand. “quit eating those! mum’s going to be furious. and, of course, i’ve seen you with this face, dumbo. don’t you think i’ve forgiven you for your ‘childbearing hips’ comment, doctor.”
“oh come off it, donna! that was ages ago! it’s practically a historical event now,” she scoffed. that wasn’t true at all, and she couldn’t possibly know how long it had been for donna...but they couldn’t spend forever rehashing that event. donna would only end up slapping her again given the chance. “and it really wasn’t that bad! it was supposed to be a compliment. sort of was, if you squint. that was the height of compliments a few hundred years ago. it’s not my fault if you humans change that frequently, i can barely keep up.”
a starter for donna noble at @nobleimportance!
“Where we at then?” Without so much as asking, she was making herself at home – Sylvia would be livid if she could see the Doctor eating the snacks ( likely laid out for guests ), and getting comfy on the sofa. Luckily for her, the Noble matriarch didn’t seem to be around. “Hopefully you’ve at least met me with this face before? Bit awkward if not. I’ve already eaten loads of your crisps, can’t really introduce myself after raiding the cheese and onion.”
#emeraldshe. “ it is a delightful ball, your majesty. very diamond-y. though, i must admit, i am more of an emerald person myself.” indie, selective eloise bridgerton from netflix’s bridgerton ( with influences from the julia quinn novels ) as loved by vicky! ©

the doctor who trailer, that is all
oi
Oi yourself.
a starter for belle delacroix at @inventorsdaughter!
"oi.” ah, the donna effect. it was still in full swing. it would hopefully get belle’s attention, though, and that was the whole point! sometimes humans knew exactly what they were talking about, and apparently this was one of those times. “are you coming or what?”
a starter for alice turner at @ravenskeeper!
“have you ever thought about travelling?” who hadn’t, truly? that was the funny thing about humans, no matter their circumstances, they seemed to dream of escaping, at least for awhile. the kind of travelling the doctor could offer up, however, wasn’t exactly what anyone might expect. “’course you have, everyone has. imagine you could go anywhere – where would you go first?”
a starter for rebecca welton at @beowner!
“of course we’ve met before. haven’t we?” the doctor paused, blinking several times as she looked at rebecca’s blank face. this wasn’t good. she got the timings wrong sometimes, came earlier or later than expected, but not usually this off. if she knew rebecca, and rebecca didn’t know her, that didn’t bode well for anyone. “or, you know, maybe you’ve just got one of those faces! you know, those faces?”
what if you liked this for a starter?
missing the doctor hours
fasciinating / spock.
AN EYEBROW FLIES TO the fringe of Spock’s hair given both those statements. By all appearances——he had surmised otherwise; it is himself of all people that should know firsthand appearances can be deceiving. For that, the gesture is short-lived, his features smoothing, and in the end, Spock resolves to withhold conclusion for the remainder of this unexpected venture as long as he’s allowed. “ Bigger? ” He looks between this individual and the strange device ( or something else rather ) so seemingly out of place. “ Is it a vessel of some kind? ”
“Time Lord,” she offered, by way of explanation. That didn’t always mean anything to anyone, but it was the only explanation she could really give — Gallifrey was long gone, so it was rather pointless attempting to explain. The Doctor quickly shrugged that off, nodding towards the TARDIS. “My ship! TARDIS — time and relative dimensions in space. She’s a type 40, but don’t let that put you off. They were all the rage when I stole her. Anyway! Don’t worry about that. D’you want to see the inside?”
williambycrss / will byers.
❝ Yeah. A monster. An intelligent one. ❞ Will murmurs quietly after another moment of silence. Whoever this woman really is, whether she exists or not, Will doesn’t want her to see him as a victim, he doesn’t want her to pity him or treat him as if he is fragile as almost everyone else that knows about this, does. But now that he has started telling her the truth, he can’t stop. He lowers his voice even more, hands fidgeting ❝ I was…taken there a year ago. I was just biking home one night and…I saw a monster…Not the Mindlflayer, just one that…was helping him. I ran home, but…it didn’t do anything. It got me. ❞
It would be a lot for most people to take in, possibly even too much. She wouldn’t be surprised if the majority of humans — especially the grown ups — wouldn’t listen at all. The Doctor, however, was not like most grownups; they weren’t human, and they certainly weren’t about to dismiss a young person who had witnessed something so horrific. She was certain she could help, and she’d do her best to do so. “Do you know how to get there? I’m sure there’s a way I can stop this. Wouldn’t be the first time.”
girlseventeen / satomi noda.
trust is difficult for satomi. it feels like it’s been that way forever at this point. any wrong move could lead to her final, permanent demise. everything is an enemy. it’s safer that way. she knows that she should decline. her anxiety is screaming at her to, but she’s always unsure if it’s actually worth listening to it. torn between paranoia and her being right. perhaps it’s ridiculous. maybe she’ll regret it later… but she wants to take a chance.
❝ i feel like a fool, but yes, i can, ❞ she responds. it feels strange to be interested in something again, to be reminded of her old self who absolutely loved to learn. it’s scary too, but she tells herself that she has some sort of control. if it comes to it - and she hopes it doesn’t - she always has a weapon with her… just in case. ❝ you lead the way. i… i usually wouldn’t do something so stupid, but you’ve intrigued me. ❞
while the doctor hardly thought she looked threatening, especially in this particular regeneration, she could understand why someone would be on high alert. it wasn’t every day a person suggested you join them in a police public call box, though she wasn’t entirely sure where the danger would be — they barely looked big enough for two people, though that was where the whole ‘bigger on the inside’ thing came in. looks could be deceiving, she’d learnt that plenty over the centuries, it made sense that people wouldn’t trust her right off the bat. still, that didn’t stop her from grinning as she led the way towards her ship. even if satomi thought she was absolutely mad, she was going along with her, and that was always a good start. what happened next was entirely dependent, she supposed, but she was hopeful. she stole a glance over her shoulder, coming to a stop just outside of the tardis. “here we are then! you want me to go first?”
loud incoherent screaming
what if i made a starter call here after this ep?
