Builderfan is an age regressor! He usually regresses to around 8-12, but very rarely to anything younger. Since most players are nice to him anyway, he basically carries on as the vendor. It’s only when he’s really little that he goes to H3lp3r because all he can do is babble, but he’s usually loud enough for H3lp3r to hear him and set him up with some toys while he takes over. I think Fan’s one of those kids that’s morbidly fascinated with destruction, so he often watches the destruction of maps from the lower decks of the doomspire, usually on a playmat with apple juice and animal crackers. If he’s feeling big and brave he’ll go down with the players, but more often than not come back with a scraped knee and a black eye (he’s very brave about it tho)
Why does he do this? Why not? God forbid a boy have hobbies /silly
Super off topic but every round is CARNAGE. I have to stay as far away from everyone as possible because I’m just gonna get bloxxed!!! It’s a fun concept for an event but it makes it unplayable for people who are neutral
So a more serious headcanon. After the Petition Guy died a cult formed, believing in life after death, the Respawners formed. Their first act? Bring Petition Guy back to life to get more people to join. But hey! That's just a theory! An Observantanon theory!
Anyways my hc is that tons of cosplayers come to the doomspire in universe. So much that the doomspire is essentially reffered to as a permanent cosplay convention. So all player's avatars are canon imo
idk builderfan's pronouns all that much , so he will have they/him rn
1) First meeting
-You wanders into the lobby shop while Builderfan’s was currently playing on his console , when he sees you , he pause the game.
-Builderfan greets you like it’s the best thing that happened all day “Oh! Hey there!”
-Playful banter , what can i say ?
-Builderfan teases you about dying too soon, you of cource , teases back, which ends up going back and forth.
-Builderfan absent mindedly tucks a stray lock of hair behind your ear one time, freezes and flushes, that tiny clumsy is INGRAVED into his mind for nights.
-Sometimes Before you leaves, Builderfan slips a tiny, freebie trinket into their bag “so you’ll come back.”
-He tells a friend (the purple guy at the lobby , idk his name </3 ) later, “They were cute, okay?” and can’t stop checking the lobby for you.
2) General headcanons
-Since you and him grew closer , they often ask you to play co-op game together, you on the couch (pretend they are downstairs , where there's couch and a tv)
-They love if you rage when he beats you at the game , seeing your face flushes up with anger , as he loses it.
-Builderfan , surprisingly , is good at baking , i mean you think playing cooking mama was all for nothing (silly) , whne you get way to angry when he wins tho , he tends to apologizes with baked goods , saying he'll go easier next time (spoiler alert , he doesn't.)
3) How they realize they have feelings
-Jealousy disguised as care.
-Builderfan finds themselves oddly possessive when other players flirt with you , they joke it off, but his chest tightens in his chest.
-He won't admit it , but he panics when you aren't here , even if it's for just a day.
-A day without you checking in , leaves a hole in their routine ,Builderfan paces between the shop and tries to play his video games , but he finds himself distracted , his thoughts going back to you.
-During an events (those DAMN FUCKING DRAKOBLOXXERS I HATE THEM) when things get rough, Builderfan’s is watching {user} like a hawk , during the round making sure they are okay, Afterwards, they feel something fierce in their chest when you 're safe.
4) How they confess , Builderfan’s confession
-They pick a low-key night after an event , he'll ask you to turn on your "afk mode on" , a note tightly in his hands behind their back.
-he stammer through normal talk, hands fiddling with the note. Then, trying to be brave, they press the note into your hand and fumble the words.
“I.. I like you.” (then softer) “Like more-than-friend like.”
-if talking feels too raw, Builderfan looks up at you , their eyes going back and forth between looking at you and being too nervous too , and says, “Can I keep this? Keep you? If you’ll let me.”
-If you say yes, Builderfan immediately follows with a goofy victory dance, before trying to act nonchalant.
5) Romantic headcanons
-surprisngly , even if he is open , it is kinda different to a real relationship , Slowburn PDA, They prefer tiny, private displays leaning against each other while playing , he prefers when it's just you and him.
-and that he doesnt have the hear the damn drakobloxxer"s noises outside , or the thunder and all the ridiculous noises each event.
-TRUST ME , when i say that every New Year on christmax they do a dumb “first kiss” tradition in the shop , they hang mistletoe, EVERYWHERE , so he can come and blink his little eyes , asking for kisses.
-at the end of a round , aftercare for you , is a MUST , Builderfan is big on practical aftercare, he'll prepare you warm drinks, blanket, and a playlist (he totally didn't spend hours on it , picking songs you liked.) for decompressing after intense rounds.
-Lazy Sundays are for playing co-op,or watching movies in his shop , while he gets out his computer for you two to watch movies on.
-At the end of the day , The shop becomes you guys shared nook,And he is always waiting for you at the end of an event , or when you'll spend time with him.
