🏫 Hopscotch Hill School 🏫
Hopscotch hill! I adored these dolls growing up, got Hallie first the birthday before I started 2nd grade, then Skylar and Gwen following that Christmas. I'm guessing my parents were trying to encourage an interest in sports with Gwen, since I only asked for Skylar and Gwen was technically a surprise gift from my aunt. Clearly, I begged enough for Logan's outfit that they caved to my demands that Gwen have something better to wear than what I saw as an inferior sports game uniform. I still have the soccer uniform and little gear bag with the ball and everything in pristine condition because my Gwen, and my other girls, basically never wore it.
The interests in biology, fairies, space, and science in general that drew me to Hallie and Skylar are still with me - an interest in soccer, or a sport of any kind, never materialized. Sorry, Gwen! I still enjoyed playing with you!
Thank you, @ladycatofthecanals for the tag commentary that inspired this whole little rant. I have a bit more of the Hopscotch Hill world still here in my closet. And a treasure trove of custom outfits for Hallie, Gwen, and Skylar that my aunt sewed for me when my parents finally recoiled at the AG prices for extra accessories. Be happy to drag it all out and photograph if anyone would care to see :)
